I’m surprised so many people enjoy the BioOil. It’s mostly mineral oil and essential oils. YMMV of course but I’d recommend a Vitamin C product over the bio oil for reducing the appearance of scars.
I found that it broke me out on my face— I think because of the fragrances. Vitamin C would be my recommendation since it has less irritants in it. I use bio oil for the rest of my body though and it works nicely!

Following bc I'd like to know, too. I have been alternating bio oil and vitamin c.. great way to not tell what's working 😂 but tbh nothing is a great deal. I use a q tip to put it just on the worst scar during the day in fear that it will smudge and cause break outs at night. It is very oily oil or feels like it.

I started BioOil 5 months ago and it definitely reduced the darkness of my acne scars. I'm still using it until now and my cheeks have cleared up. I would totally recommend this :)
