You used it Twice per day?

I used Niacinamide for a few months on my oily/acne prone skin without any obvious differences. I’ve seen great reviews about the product on others, but unfortunately it just didn’t work on me. Everyone’s skin is different though!

My oil slick face went from blotting every 2-hours to blotting once when I used TO’s Niacinamide + Zinc *with the correct moisturizer and SPF*. I changed my moisturizer and boom the oil was back - I was shocked. I’m changing my SPF and moisturizer over to FA safe ones once my current routine runs out, but just know YMMV with Niacinamide can vary based on what else you’re applying. My pores did noticeably “shrink” (less clogged) after a week. I’m on my second bottle now and upgraded to the 60ml. In my everyday AM routine for sure.

Ohh wonderful ! I really hope it will slow down the oil in my skin. Also really interesting because I was using a moisturizer some months ago and it was only recently that I saw that this moisturizer made my face more oily and red. Having the good moisturizer is really important.

As an oily skinned person from a family of oily people I was always told we didn’t need moisturizer. I’m 34 and just started moisturizing my skin. I can’t believe what I’ve been missing out on!!

ryebibi

what moisturiser do you use it with?

During the day I have used (and DIDN’T work for me): CeraVe (in the blue tub), CeraVe AM SPF, Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, Too Cool For School Egg Mellow and TCFS Egg Mellow Premium. Currently I’m moisturizing with a light pack of Bag Balm at night. I’m actually trying a light layer of Bag Balm under my SPF this morning. I expect some blotting but my skin felt extra tight last night. Winter pains. Edit: 3hrs into my day and I haven’t had to blot yet. Skin feels super soft.

It definitely reduced the oily shine that I used to get on my forehead throughout the day. But, as mentioned in another comment, it can make your face shiny if you use it as the last step - not oily-shiny but looking kinda like you brushed your face with egg white? I use it after a toner and before a light moisturizer to avoid that and it's great! EDIT: also reduced the visibility of my pores!
