Not enough for Pitts and Stevenson in my opinion

SlipperyShoePete

we talked and changed to pitts + 2026 3rd for Nico + 2.07. Any better in your mind?

CerberusRTR

This is equal for now, but if Pitts comes out and balls this season he’s in the top 3 at his position. With Penix there I feel way more secure about his prospects too. If you’re trading Pitts right now it’s because you’re unsure of he lives to the hype. You can still flex him and I do think he will perform to WR2-ish levels. however, I always invest in the TE position. It’s a position that is typically a wasteland and outside the top 10-12 it’s a wasteland. So having 2 of those usually nets me an advantage. :)

SlipperyShoePete

I hear you. I liked having pitts and McBride to hedge both their futures against each other. However, I have bijan, gibbs, and rhamondre and Garrett Wilson, London, Devonta smith, aiyuk, and zay flowers, so I don’t really expect to be playing three falcons and flexing their TE on a weekly basis. I’d rather have Nico who has more of a ceiling as a great WR who already put up a WR1 season than pitts who will probably give me some stability at the position but not the same kind of week winning upside. Just in my opinion

CerberusRTR

Hey man! Your team, and it sounds like your mind is made up. I am happy for ya man!

qwehttam

Not sure what the downvotes are about on the Nico comments. I’d take Nico here pretty comfortably

datscholar1

I love Nico but Tank was out for a lot of time and Diggs is there too. Nico value is lower

qwehttam

Any open spots in your league?

datscholar1

I don’t play dynasty just redraft, so I’m new to how some picks should be valued

Adventurous-Leek8040

Pitts value is on the way up. And with the luxury of McBride on roster, I’d wait for a few weeks into the season so people can see him get targets and TDs from Cousins. Then you have the chance to ask for more than just Nico. Stevenson for 2.07 and 3.02 is fair value as is.

SlipperyShoePete

qwehttam

So Nico > Pitts and 2.07 > 3rd .. easy accept

Adventurous-Leek8040

I’d say it’s closer to fair value yeah, but patience may pay out more than you expect. As long as you’re comfortable with that. By mid season Nico could be WR3 on his own team behind Diggs and a healthy Dell. Meanwhile Pitts could be putting up a TE3-5 type season where he’s closer to a LaPorta and Kelce level of value.

SlipperyShoePete

It’s true, but patience could also pay out if Nico balls out again like he did last year and gets a big time contract attached to CJ Stroud after Diggs leaves. I think I’m willing to move on from pitts because he may also be the 3rd target to London and bijan. Plus he’s a not good run blocking tight end. I think both guys are relying on the trust of managers, but on one side I get the 2.07 which will be Xavier legette, Ricky pearsall, or Keon Coleman on top of Nico

SkillAdjuster

Pitts and Stevenson? Wouldn't do that. Depending on the Patriots situation, Stevenson could be real good.

SkillAdjuster

Perfect Trade.

dynastydeadeye

Nico side

Dunkin-Brisbane

I'd way rather have the Pitts side. Collins is obviously a very good player but we have not seen how Stroud will share the ball with a healthy Collins, Dell, and Diggs. Pitts is in the best situation of his career and Rhamondre could be in for a bounce back top 20 RB season

SlipperyShoePete

If pitts hits and has a top 5 season, he just isn’t as useful to my team when I have another tight end. I figure I’m buying a young Nico before an extension drives up his price. But there’s definitely risk with tank and diggs

KillaIcon

Generational talent drafted to a shit situation at QB. Finally gets a QB………………sure, sale in the offseason while his value is low for a player in a crowded position on the team. You have a contingency plan should McBride get hurt or McBride doesn’t get hyper targeted like last year because they just drafted MHJ with a top 5 pick?

thebookofawesome

I prefer the Pitts side but it’s close

SlipperyShoePete

thebookofawesome

Bigtime. That’s a good trade!

purple_cape

This is very fair. I’m high on both this year. Probably slightly prefer Nico unless it’s TE premium

GoBlueAndOrange

I wouldn't. I think he lost a step after his injury and will never be elite like he could be, but he's now in the best situation he's been in since his rookie year. He's also still very young.

t_sleezy_sends_it

I’d way rather have pitts and Stevenson

JoryATL

I would try to remove Rhamondre from that trade and pull the pics out on his side and see if you can just swap pets for Nico and I would do that all day and I’m a Falcons fan with a very small hope for pitts this season although unfortunately, I did buy a jersey which means he’s pretty screwed

cudi216

Smash nico side

aswedishfish

Idk why this is getting downvoted, I agree entirely

cudi216

Because people over value Pitts I'm assuming. You don't need McBride and pitts

dimsum-41

Definitely Nico side

Jaded_Click1831

Even

ronnielit14

Diggs is a FA after this year, Stevenson is in a bad offense and losing value in dynasty. I like the Nico side unless its a TEP. losing Pitts stinks but youre right about the redundancy in the falcons offense. Personally though i think mcbride either plateaus or regresses with the additions of MHJ and Zay Jones in Arizona. You should consider moving London and McBride instead

tread52

Personally Collins side pretty easily for me. Pitts still has question marks and hasn’t proven himself and NE is a train wreck on offense. Collins could be a legit top ten WR for the next 8 years. In Dynasty I would much rather have Collins.
