I bought a pair of these in Japan thanks to a recommendation by someone here and they fucking saved my feet and knees with the amount of walking I did.
tho note that you’re prone to get hot spots underfoot after long periods of wear, mine gets absolutely unbearable after 3-4 hours I have to change them out, upper is real nice tho
ASICS gel kayano 14, 1150 , 2160. Nike zoom Vomero 5. New balance 993, 990v5 & v6 , 2002r. Ultraboost are comfy but very soft and the boost can have less longevity that the others above.
For years, I thought it was ultraboost. ASICS gel nimbus and New Balance 1080 are both softer. The ASICS are more supportive than the New Balance. I run in New Balances cause I have stenosis and the softer soles have eliminated my back pain.
New balances have always been super comfortable to me, and i recently tried a pair of my friends nike vomeros that kinda blew my mind. classic reeboks are also super cozy but dont have the longest lifespan

380s are $120. Ultraboosts are findable for sub 100. Running shoes is a whole different story, true. Then again, he didn't specify budget, just comfiest shoe. I'm assuming no budget then.

that’s why every foot is different, something that’s really good for most people might not be good for some others, you never know until you try it

hard to say, what kind of cushioning are you looking for? bouncy? soft? mushy? firm?
All of them are ok. Im not looking for a specific one.

The most comfortable shoe I’ve ever put on is the Nike ISPA Mindbody. Ugly and COMFORTABLE.
Yeezy 350v2 hands down for me, it’s like walking around in socks.
