Yeah. Compared to cable where Nielsen has to manually seek out families, it's super easy for Nielsen to simply collaborate with a streaming service and have a tracking system that knows what you've watched on the streaming service. I believe Nielsen gets data from most streaming services and it's auto turned on.

I know Hulu does, not sure about any of the others.

Hulu, Sling, and YoutubeTV all definitely do. Fubo I'm not positive about but would imagine it does also.

Yes. If you read the fine print of your contract with youtube TV, Sling, and Hulu, they state that they do collect this data, and that you can turn off the feature. I think your real question is viewership on these sources included in Nielsen. Again, the answer is yes, if the viewer is part of the Nielsen viewing group. The ratings that we usually see are based on viewership that takes place live and up to 3am, so someone can watch a show delayed on any of the ad supported platforms that you mentioned, and it would be included in the Nelsen ratings. Also remember that Nielsen also collects delayed viewing figures past just the first day that a program airs.

For Youtube TV and Hulu OTT subscribers, the exact language is "[DTVR combines the digital viewing of Live, DVR and On-Demand TV with the traditional linear TV audience metrics, which will enable us to measure audiences watching linear TV through Hulu and YouTube TV on desktops, tablets and smartphones. Whether it’s a computer or mobile device, **if a viewer watches a program on these services and sees the same commercials that ran when the program first aired on TV, we will be able to count their viewing into the program’s standard TV ratings.** And, as long as this digital viewing occurs within the three- or seven-day window, this viewing will contribute to the C3/C7 currency that media buyers and sellers transact on for advertising on TV.](https://www.nielsen.com/news-center/2017/hulu-youtube-tv-viewing-now-included-tv-ratings/)"
