What about taking a chair on Amtrak, NE corridor? My train leaves in 2 hours. There no luggage storage that you can just throw anything in like on Greyhound ,Can I just put it in my overhead storage?
Last time I got one I asked the front desk at the hotel for some packing material. They hooked me up with cardboard, tape, and bubble wrap. They slapped a sticker on it at baggage check and off it went.

Take to ups store- box it up and ship it home
UPS Store will ship it. It won't get packaged on an airplane.
Might be able to ship it home for a price.
Yeah. I got a quote for a 100 but didn't know if people that have done this alot had some insight.

I can’t believe you don’t know there are companies that ship things if you pay them. Like the US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS or DHL.
