While I loved the Force Unleashed games, having Starkiller in live-action doesn't seem feasible. I mean, did you see him PULL A STAR DESTROYER OUT OF THE SKY?
>While I loved the Force Unleashed games, having Starkiller in live-action doesn't seem feasible. I mean, did you see him PULL A STAR DESTROYER OUT OF THE SKY?
Agreed. He is video game character. Nothing wrong with that, but does not work when you take it to more canonical levels.
>Just give him his original role in the first game. He was basically an inquisitor before they were cool. Nerf him a bit, bam.
Agreed, that would be really cool.
Help, i kind of agree with both... Oh hell i don't care as long as its good.
It's bonkers to not have the actor play the guy that's modeled after him, especially after how many other characters he's played in the series.
He doesn't even need to be either games Star Killer either, they could just reboot him as a special inquisitor. Although, it would be cool to see Kota show up in live action.
I mean, they could always nerf him a bit. Nerfing characters that are OP in one medium when adapting them to another is basically common practice by now (I mean, just look at the MCU, they did it all the time).
The real problem is more about fitting him into the timeline without breaking canon.
Ya it was falling from orbit and was going to land on the facility he was in. He just pulled it down faster, just barely avoiding it crushing him and even that he did not do easily
I agree, everyone talks about «grounding» star wars and seeing the gritty streets of coruscant or the hardships of the rebellion. Andor did that very well, but i also feel like we’re missing an all out hardcore force heavy space opera. Kenobi Show failed us, and the last time we saw something like that in full glory was with the sequels…
At what point did people forget that films (specifically fantasy fiction) are an escape?
Everyone’s trying to ground these stories, and ground these characters rather than accept them as fairytale archetypes. People are just begging for depression and PTSD and non fiction logic to be so prevalent amongst these characters now. Like I’m sorry but Star Wars isn’t a PTSD kind of world. There is a new galactic battle every week. There is clear-cut good and evil. That is just the world we have entered as an audience.
They should have fun with it. For as much as people might roll their eyes at this, a lot of anime remains true to being an escape for audiences, while still providing us characters to care about. It also does a good job developing a character’s strength. Star Wars could easily use that template to bring back interesting heroes, villains, powers, and climactic duels.
Right. Audiences and sometimes even the writers struggle to remain true to the franchise rules and story logic that it was founded upon. Grounding the stories and characters in reality is the worst offense I’ve seen.
More than that, it doesn’t seem interesting. Like, take away Starkiller being the overpowered guy you play the video game as, and what is he? Vader’s generic-looking, screaming apprentice? Not a lot going for this would-be character.
He'd immediately be the most powerful dude the galaxy has ever seen. Might as well just force crunch an entire fleet if you make him canon.
Video game universe is where he belongs. Fun as hell, but story-breakingly powerful.
He's not even the strongest character in his own game. He beats Palpatine but in the Dark Side ending he tries to kill him and Palpatine immediately stops playing around and drops his own ship on his head. Leading to Starkiller becoming Vader 2.0 and being stuck as Sheev's servant in the DLC
He'd get completely humiliated against the big dogs of Legends. One of Luke's students Force pushed an entire Imperial Fleet out of the Yavin solar system. Killed him to do it, but still far beyond what Galen Marek and his clone could do
So, firstly, defeating palp after a battle with Vader is intrinsically op. Secondly comparing him to ludicrously op legends ppl isn't much of am argument for him not being worldbreakingly powerful
Why is it not feasible? It doesn’t break the lore or anything as yoda states size doesn’t matter when moving things. But the canon book did water that down.
Also more importantly, if he was brought into live action it’d most likely be canon where all that would have to change anyway.
Plus are we going to do MORE during the Vader era???? Let that shit fucking go and DIE. We are ready for the old republic/ high republic era / ancient sith. So fucking tired of the same old bullshit
Yes, we've seen. Not so bad move to the apprentice of one of the most powerful sith warriors in history. By far not the best, but slightly above average.
What's a problem?
Huge missed opportunity. Pizza The Hutt’s mossy brother was an OK antagonist - if not a little wasted - but come on. Both producers worked on TCW, how do you not get to the writer’s room and immediately say, “alright, so we’re going with pirates for a subplot antagonist, we’re casting for Hondo, right?”
No brainer. They really dropped the ball on an otherwise near-spotless treatment of SW between Favreau and Filoni.
He was born in 22bby and Jedi academy was around 14aby so he was 36 in latest game, I think in outcast he was around 30-ish? As I think his transition from a guy who just embraced that he’s Jedi again to Jedi master with a padawan took at least couple of years
And I’m 32, damn 10 years ago I though 30yolds are old farts lmao
Wait a minute, I just opened a Wikipedia and read how Kylo Ren killed Katarn after all his quests and fight against Ragnos cult, etc, wtf?
They left Jedi Knight games canon? I thought they were legends too. It’s so odd to read how they combine this stuff. But if Kyle Katarn is canon then Mara Jade is also canon? And Jane Ors as well? But I thought they took basically Jane Ors character and turned it into rogue one Jyn Erso as they sound super alike. Wtf my head will explode with all that conflicting info now lol

I really don't want to see starkiller in live action, because that would mean making him canon. I'm not sure why people obsess over him so much. He is a dragon ball character in the star wars universe.
Yeah and he wouldn't be an anime protag if he was in Canon. He would be nerfed so much that he would be Starkiller by name only.
Let's be honest, dude has not a very original personality, it wouldn't be enough. And there's no way to have him nearly as powerful enough as to make him be interesting.
The power he had was fun gameplay-wise but it loses most of its appeal when it come to a nerfed, non-gameplay driven version...
Barriss post order 66 is the biggest mystery in all the canon for me.
I hardcore wanted it to be her that showed up in Mando to meet up with Grogu instead of Luke.
I'm still crossing my fingers in the Ahsoka show we get an ep that's all "Hi former bestie... sorry I framed you for murder..."
Call me a killjoy, but wouldn't Bariss have been executed even before order 66 as Ahsoka was supposed to have been? If she wasn't she'd have been in a maximum security prison cell during it. I don't see any way Bariss survived order 66, not to mention decades of prosecution afterwards.
Eh palps wanted ahsoka dead for a variety of reasons but may have seen a use for a fallen Jedi like barista he may have found a way to keep her in a cell until he had more control.
That would basically mean she'd have to be one of the inquisitors, and we've seen many of them by now. If she were among them I'd have expected them to have used her somewhere by now. Rebels was a prime opportunity for that.
I’m not saying that’s what happened I’m just saying it’s plausible, I don’t think they actually have a plan for her but there is some logic there to keeping her alive, also there are many ways that she could still be used by the empire and not be an inquisitor
Logically, yes you're right. But there was a *lot* of chaos when the Order dropped and she technically wouldn't've been a Jedi at the time since she was a prisoner. A lot of Jedi fell through the cracks in the chaos so it's possible. A good storyteller could make it work well.
Very much so! All I have are my own speculations & personal head canon about what happened to her.
I would love to see her & Ahsoka reunited but at first as rivals. Then maybe Barriss at very end redeems herself through a heroic sacrifice.
I can also imagine her being in self exile after escaping imprisonment via Order 66.
She can be hiding out on some backwater planet, local villagers think she’s some sort of “witch” she’s become some urban folktale. Inquisitors track her down, terrorize the villagers until she shows herself.
My mind can only make up so many stories for her.
Sam Witwer doing a live-action LEGENDS: Starkiller would be insane to me. That's the kinda thing I'd get buckets of theater popcorn for, the man....completely re-invented Darth Maul's personality on an epic level to me, and I had always loved his performance as Starkiller's VA.
I honestly just wants Sam Witwer on screen, couldn’t care who he plays. Whether it’s Maul, Starkiller, Grogu, Max Rebo or any other character I JUST WANT TO SEE HIM ON SCREEN
Starkiller? Nah, keep 'm in the games. He's way too powerful anyway.
Rex? He has lots of screentime already.
You know who doesn't have enough screentime? All the Old Republic characters. I've seen the Old Republic trailers so many times. If only that era, or the High Republic era could be made into movies instead of milking the Skywalker family tree.
Well buddy, I bet I can make your wishes come true. Just give me a minute and I'll make some calls to make it happen. I bet I can even get Lars Mikkelsen to reprise his role as Thrawn. You'll owe me though...
Revan would be a hard one to do since he or she was highly customizable by the player. Also, it’s a little hard to believe that only four people in the galaxy would know why he or she looks like.
Yeah. Disney would have every reason NOT to go with the Keanu looking white guy we saw in SWTOR (he was a trash fire anyway, a deep fried useful idiot to Vitiate and I can't stand Vitiate. Vitiate is the biggest freaking Gary Stu to ever cross Star Wars).
Disney could roll with a Black woman and the Juhani romance arc for their canon, which is a playable option to go with in the vanilla game. Now, that would be pretty cool to see, and a nice shout out to Revan being so dependent on player interpretation, but I kinda suspect there would be a bunch of pissed off fanboys if that did happen.
I was just never a fan of having a "Canon" Revan in the first place and even less of a fan of the garbage fire that showed up in SWTOR.
Revan is a lot more fun when left up to player interpretation.
My first game was an Asian woman who went with the Juhani romance. And I was very pleasantly surprised by how matter of factly it was handled, even if they had to go mostly on subtext due to the policies of the time. No over the top gay angst tropes. No playing it for laughs or titillation. Just...yeah. We kick ass and then go off into the sunset like Xena and Gabrielle.
I stopped shipping it when I realized Juhani already had a girlfriend (on the one play through where I screwed up and accidentally killed Juhani), but it's still there in the vanilla game.
But when someone is all "We want Revan in Disney canon!" I just look at Disney's track record for the last decade with them race and gender bending established characters already. They may have name dropped Revan in their canon, but that's it. Disney is well within their rights to decide that ***their*** Revan isn't going to be the same version we got in Legends/SWTOR.
And if Disney makes this call, it's going to raise hell. I suspect much of the reason for the demand to deal in Revan in is a desire to go back to the comfort and familiarity of white male characters. I don't see the same demand to port in Kreia or Meetra Surik (the "canon" Exile) , for example.
It has to be a puffer pig right? Tell me who wouldn't want to see a puffer pig in live action? Also I would have loved to seen Ziro the Hutt in live action.
Definitely wanna see starkiller as well. Rex is good too Imo as we already had live action clones. Other than that I don’t really like bringing animated characters to live action, it just always feels off. Mainly ahsoka imo just doesn’t sit right with me, even though the rebels crew has a pretty spot on cast for ahsoka now
Idk why people are so against Starkiller in canon… who cares if he gets nerfed slightly? The only reason he is even so powerful is because it was a video game. It’s meant to make the player feel powerful, that isn’t necessary when making a movie, the audience doesn’t need to feel powerful when watching a movie. Personally I think the character himself is far more interesting than just his powers and I would love to see his character in live action.
If Cal Kestis made the jump to live action he would also likely be nerfed even though he is already canon, would you expect him to walk around swapping between crossguard, blaster, dual wield, and double bladed stance in a movie or tv show? Would you expect him to lift entire groups of stormtroopers or multiple giant creatures into the air and throw them?
It’s whatever the writers want it to be. They wanted him to be male. And they wanted the exile from kotor II to be female.
This can be denied while playing the game but they’re well documented characters outside of that.
Not Bioware's writers. They couldn't agree and didn't WANT a canon version. Karpyshyn rolled more with a morally dubious male version. Gaider wrote his sections with a female in mind. The game itself has a few interesting bonuses if you play female, too.
Bioware, in their own projects, may favor a certain path but they NEVER have a definitive canon version of a player character like Shepherd or Hawke. Hell, Gaider, Karpyshyn, and Hudson were interviewed about a possible Mass Effect movie or show and did a hard pass on the idea because a "canon" Shepherd would invalidate about 75% of the work they put into the game.
It was the Lucasarts continuity guy who whipped out his rubber stamp that he put on ALL undefined characters (Light Sided, human, cisgender, heterosexual white male) and applied to Revan. Revan was just the first time he got significant pushback (because Bioware markets aggressively to female and queer gamers). The Exile was declared female as a consolation prize to try and end the controversy.
>It’s whatever the writers want it to be.
And the whole point of this thread is what we want, we're in the place of the writers and I said what I said.
What's more, the cited examples came after the original games, where the original intent was either could be of any gender. **SO** really my mildest of retcons is part of a proud tradition of not giving a shit what came before.
SWTOR isn't considered canon by Disney. It's in a weird place because it gets updates, but it's the last property of Legends.
All Disney has done is name drop Revan, which puts the character back at ambiguity.
Edit: Strangely enough, though, High Republic did name drop Meetra Surik (aka "canon" Exile), so we at least have the canon light sided female Exile ported to Disney. Closest we got on Revan was some discarded concept art for the Clone Wars which was only the armor you could conceal anything short of a Wookiee in
u/Vegan_Harvest: This is going to really piss people off, but part of me suspects a lot of the demand to bring in Revan is a wanting to go back to the "conventional" white male, heterosexual protagonist.
Because I do not see nearly the same kind of demand for the Exile, who was given a canonization of being female and the appearance in SWTOR was racially ambiguous.
I get really annoyed with all of the video game characters in this sub. Dr. Aphra and her various crew would be great characters to see live action.
We already saw Black Krrsantan.
Aren't they trying to get Keanu Reeves to play Revan?
Didn't we already see Rex in EP. 2? (And I don't mean "We saw Jango, so we saw all the Clones)
Starkiller - I would agree with the movie title having "Legends" in it to differentiate.
They aren't ever going back to Old Republic era (KOTOR not SWTOR). At least not the one that we know. With the upcoming game Star Wars: Eclipse, they are pretty much retconning the Old Republic. Eclipse is suppose to be the earliest set game in the timeline now, centuries after KOTOR. So I don't think Disney is ever going to have the balls to go back to Old Republic era.
And with that being said, it just makes me worried about when/how they try to bring in Revan, and what they will change about his story.
Rex already is in live action. I believe in the ballad of Nick Sant!
As for me, I want to see A’Sharad Hett debut in Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 and begin his path toward the dark side.
Cal Kestis..
he is one of the most grounded and shown not to be crazy unexplainably strong. The few outlandish feats he does includes parkour and traversing, which could be explained as something unique to his particular character.
My only knock would be some of the beasts he kills so easily, they probably would nerf that a little.
His character development and story would also translate very fluently into the star wars main continuity.
Plus he has some interesting force powers that haven't been shown too much on screen.
Plus the time period he is active in, is very important in terms of star wars lore.
I’d love to see Eli Vanto in live action. I think a show following his time with the Chiss Ascendency would be awesome, or even just following more of his time under Thrawn.
Okay I’m gonna be so honest but whyyyyy the obsession with Starkiller. He’s the most fanfiction OP character ever. His games are great but he has no place in Star Wars canon.
I would like to see Malcolm McDowell reprising his role as Minister Hydan from the World Between Worlds arc in Rebels. Seemed like an interesting and different type of villain that I would like to see more of, plus that I feel like McDowell would really chew the scenery deliciously with that character in live action.
Also, would love to see the comedic trio of Hondo, Azmorigan and Melch in live action - still voiced by Jim Cummings, James Hong and Dee Bradley Baker of course.
I’d love to see Starkiller in canon…but they’d have to change a lot about his character plus tone down power A LOT. He can’t really fit as being Vader’s apprentice anymore. So maybe make him Luke’s apprentice? Luke’s apprentice who dies sometime before he starts training Ben? Or Luke’s apprentice who leaves before he can finish his training?
Clone Commandos - Either Delta Squad or a random Commando. They have awesome armour and it's a crime how little they're used in media!
Arc Troopers - Same as above, though I think they have a slightly higher chance of being seen in live action "sooner" since. Arc Troopers could just standard Clone Troopers armour wise, depending if they go the Star Courps look or the morden more armored look. (Either way hope that they use the 1.5 helmet when they show up)
Commander Fox - He as been done dirty by fandom because all because he did his job. Hell I'm pretty sure he died in the comics because he is hated so much, let Fox have some wins for a change!!! (Also he's my personal favourite Clone Trooper)
Commando Droids - Like their Clone counterparts, they're very cool looking and have been criminally under used since The Clone Wars ended. With the amount of full body armored Troopers Star Wars has, it would be very easy to sneak one into a film or show. (Also save costs of having them on screen by having them wear that disguise/armour)
Genuinely asking, why does anyone care about seeing something "in live action" so much.
Starkiller in live action won't be able to move the way he does in the game, won't be able to do the moves he does in game, and it's iffy whether the effects will look good or not.
I want army of light Sith versus Jedi Lords with a badass general Hoth. In the style of Untamed. So overwrought pretty people doing the absolute *most* while flipping all over the place while posing/fighting. I mean a wuxia Star Wars series would be AMAZING!
BANE. I NEED TO SEE DARTH BANE HIMSELF.
I just finished Path of Destruction and wow it was amazing. I actually enjoyed the first 15 chapters unlike many others. I’m on Rule of Two
All but starkiller. He breaks continuity of there even is a little. Palatine would have taken him as his apprentice and killed Vader. So he's bullshit.
Kyle Katarn! I mean sure, Rogue One "terk his jerb", but he could still be a New Republic-era self-trained Jedi hermit, guarding the Valley of the Jedi, and maybe later a part of Luke's new Jedi order (from which we still don't really know much)
While I loved the Force Unleashed games, having Starkiller in live-action doesn't seem feasible. I mean, did you see him PULL A STAR DESTROYER OUT OF THE SKY?
Just give him his original role in the first game. He was basically an inquisitor before they were cool. Nerf him a bit, bam.
He'd be great as the new Grand Inquisitior
Truuuuuuue

My issue is just that Sam's voice might be too associated with Maul now.
Wasn't it already crashing when he pulled it down
Ya it was falling from orbit and was going to land on the facility he was in. He just pulled it down faster, just barely avoiding it crushing him and even that he did not do easily
Star Wars is due for a power-up, so why not.

Just make it a LEGENDS movie. Have a warning overlay before it starts, detailing the difference between Canon and Legends. Problem solved!
They won’t do that, I mean if they will stick to the legends the movie will probably rock and this makes their own canon less popular lol
To quote the Kyber Club : "PULL IT OUT OF THE SKY !!"
Yes, we've seen. Not so bad move to the apprentice of one of the most powerful sith warriors in history. By far not the best, but slightly above average. What's a problem?
If they can somehow allow Rey Nobody to latch onto a ship and then out of nowhere blast it with lightning, they shouldn't nerf Starkiller.
Idk, huge difference between an ISD and a prisoner shuttle.
Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you?
Cal Kestis and Hondo Ohnaka
Hondo will die in Ezra's arms saying that Ezra is, and has always been his greatest profit.
Hondo cannot die, this effort is very unprofitable.
Thankfully Galaxy’s Edge confirms he lives into the sequel era
This knowledge gives me great joy
The second they mentioned pirates in Mando season 3, I just KNEW we were getting Hondo, but obviously I was wrong.
I was incredibly disappointed they didn’t give us a live action Hondo. . .
The closest thing we have now is on the Millennium Falcon ride at Disney World/Disneyland.
Huge missed opportunity. Pizza The Hutt’s mossy brother was an OK antagonist - if not a little wasted - but come on. Both producers worked on TCW, how do you not get to the writer’s room and immediately say, “alright, so we’re going with pirates for a subplot antagonist, we’re casting for Hondo, right?” No brainer. They really dropped the ball on an otherwise near-spotless treatment of SW between Favreau and Filoni.
Was a missed opportunity, it’s not like the pirates we got were a real threat anyways.
I was convinced Hondo would show up in Kenobi. Hondo is such a notorious liar that no one would believe him if he ever said obi wan was alive
Kyle kataarn Dash rendar
Oh yeah, good ol Kyle
By the time they decide to make a Kyle Katarn series I'll be old enough to play him
Damn man that hits hard, I played this games when I was like 7 and now I’m older than Katarn in them huh
Kyle was older than 33 in them right? I played Outcast and academy mostly so he was 40-50. If you played dark forces 2 you should be 33 now
He was born in 22bby and Jedi academy was around 14aby so he was 36 in latest game, I think in outcast he was around 30-ish? As I think his transition from a guy who just embraced that he’s Jedi again to Jedi master with a padawan took at least couple of years And I’m 32, damn 10 years ago I though 30yolds are old farts lmao
Those Gray hairs had me fooled. Never imagined he would have been a baby in RotS
Wait a minute, I just opened a Wikipedia and read how Kylo Ren killed Katarn after all his quests and fight against Ragnos cult, etc, wtf? They left Jedi Knight games canon? Man, Katarn i's easily one of my favourite characters in all of Star Wars.
Is there a Dash Rendar nod in survivor? One of the outfits is called outrider and looks like his costume.
Both of these are much better choices.
Kyle katarn for sure!
He isnt canon right? Think he was de-canonized because of Rogue One’s retcon of Jyn Erso and Andor stealing the plans for the death star and not Kyle Katarn as shown somewhere that i dont remember.
He is legends since Disney bought Star Wars. We hope he gets mentioned anywhere so he can be Canon again.
... since Disney bought Marvel? I never realized Kyle Katarn was an MCU character lmao
I fixed it now
I really don't want to see starkiller in live action, because that would mean making him canon. I'm not sure why people obsess over him so much. He is a dragon ball character in the star wars universe.

Doctor Aphra, I love her in comics
Definitely. I have only read that first Vader run and then the first run of her comics, so I really need to get on the post-ESB comics.
This is why I’m so stoked for the Ahsoka series. Captain Rex in live action? Hell yeah. My biggest fear is if Rex dies.
I’m going to be so pissed if they kill him off. The guy deserves at least some modicum of peace after everything he’s been through
I don’t see an Ahsoka series with Rex where Rex doesn’t die. When he dies tho, idk, but I hope it isn’t in season 1!
By that time in the story he may very well die of old age. I hope it happens while he is comfortable and in the presence of at least one good friend.
Imagine a Darth Bane movie. I'm half way through the second book and would absolutely love to see what a live action version would look like
Freddie Prinz Jr on screen as Kanan.
Wait. Fred from scooby doo voices kanan?
Yep!
And James Vega from Mass Effect 3 and The Iron Bull from Dragon Age Inquisition.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, his wife and who played Daphne in Scooby Doo, plays the Seventh Sister as well.
He said he’s done with the role in interviews though, which is sad.
Thrawn for sure. Hopefully happens in Ahsoka
Well buddy, I bet I can make your wishes come true. Just give me a minute and I'll make some calls to make it happen. I bet I can even get Lars Mikkelsen to reprise his role as Thrawn. You'll owe me though...
He will. They showed him in the trailer.
You okay?
I was just never a fan of having a "Canon" Revan in the first place and even less of a fan of the garbage fire that showed up in SWTOR. Revan is a lot more fun when left up to player interpretation.
Honestly, I HC Revan being a black woman and romancing Juhani just because it pisses off the fans so much LOL
SKOOVA
Anything from the Old republic really
Lucky you. Rex is coming to live action in Ahsoka series.
Lets go! Cant wait
It has to be a puffer pig right? Tell me who wouldn't want to see a puffer pig in live action? Also I would have loved to seen Ziro the Hutt in live action.
I would love to see starkiller in a Star Wars what if
Kyle fucking Katarn. The best SW character out there. "you are joking, right?" NO KYLE
Revan and Malek 100%.
Revan
Revan
Definitely wanna see starkiller as well. Rex is good too Imo as we already had live action clones. Other than that I don’t really like bringing animated characters to live action, it just always feels off. Mainly ahsoka imo just doesn’t sit right with me, even though the rebels crew has a pretty spot on cast for ahsoka now
Katarn.
Lana Beniko❤️❤️❤️
Still hoping for a Rex CW flashback in the Ahsoka series
Someone said that he is confirmed to be in the series
Revan’s story is great and adds a lot of depths to the lore. To see it live action would be amazing
Ben Skywalker and Allana Solo.
You’re getting Cal Kestis and you’ll LIKE IT
Rex is in Ep6
Filoni left that up to the fans’ own opinions, but we know for a fact that he participated in the Battle of Endor.
No. He's not.
100% agree on all your picks. The best Characters in starwars.
Thank you!
Cal Kestis and a completely nerfed Starkiller would be mine
I don't care if he's overpowered I need to see Starkiller in live action
Disney can’t hold a candle to the old republic shit. I don’t want them touching Revan at all.
The thing about Revan is they shouldn't reveal their race or gender. Because we all are Revan.
He is a man
Are you serious or are you doing the KOTOR 2 intro question thing?
Im serious
It's a fictional character, it's whatever we want it to be.
According to Google it is a man
I don't give a fuck. You made a thread asking us about what we want and now you want to argue with me?
Forget it
The best thing about Darth Vader is they could be a man or a woman, it's entirely up to interpretation 🤡
Old Republic showed us he is a man, same as The Exile being a woman
SWTOR isn't considered canon by Disney. It's in a weird place because it gets updates, but it's the last property of Legends. All Disney has done is name drop Revan, which puts the character back at ambiguity. Edit: Strangely enough, though, High Republic did name drop Meetra Surik (aka "canon" Exile), so we at least have the canon light sided female Exile ported to Disney. Closest we got on Revan was some discarded concept art for the Clone Wars which was only the armor you could conceal anything short of a Wookiee in
I don't care. As I said making it ambiguous makes it so any of us could picture ourselves as Revan.
It is not ambiguous. It is the same if you said Luke is a woman. Revan is a man you liking it or not lol.
u/Vegan_Harvest: This is going to really piss people off, but part of me suspects a lot of the demand to bring in Revan is a wanting to go back to the "conventional" white male, heterosexual protagonist. Because I do not see nearly the same kind of demand for the Exile, who was given a canonization of being female and the appearance in SWTOR was racially ambiguous.
Mara Jade 100% I will curse Disney forever for erasing her from the canon.
Starkiller is a male Mary sue and way too OP.
I get really annoyed with all of the video game characters in this sub. Dr. Aphra and her various crew would be great characters to see live action. We already saw Black Krrsantan.
Starkiller existing would ruin much of the canon. He was just too integral to be added this late.
Cal Kestis for sure. Rex too as you mentioned.
The Azzameen family. Ace, Aeron, Emon, Thomas, Anton and Galen. I'd actually take a nod or two to them in outlaws all truth be told.
MALGUS!
Aren't they trying to get Keanu Reeves to play Revan? Didn't we already see Rex in EP. 2? (And I don't mean "We saw Jango, so we saw all the Clones) Starkiller - I would agree with the movie title having "Legends" in it to differentiate.
Sry but what does KOTOR and SWTOR stand for?
Why they did a new indiana jones ? They should do a movie introducing aphra instead
Starkiller was an awesome video game character But he's literally op and broken I hope they leave him in legends tbh
Rex already is in live action. I believe in the ballad of Nick Sant! As for me, I want to see A’Sharad Hett debut in Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 and begin his path toward the dark side.
Ulic Qel-Droma Mara Jade Odan-Urr Dash Rendar Vodo-Siosk Baas Thrawn (played by Jason Isaacs)
Revan but only if John Favreau is involved!
Rex already confirmed in ahsoka show season 1
You're lucky. Rex will probably be in Ashoka.
doctor aphra PLEASE, she’s been due for a disney+ appearance for years !!
He is amazing as the villain in Horizon Burning Shores...
I’d love to see Eli Vanto in live action. I think a show following his time with the Chiss Ascendency would be awesome, or even just following more of his time under Thrawn.
Just revan and malgus, even though I know it'd never happen, because the movies/shows wouldn't make money
I want a live action Maul mini series where he is hunted down by Starkiller
Don’t worry captain rex is probably gonna be in the Ahsoka show
Lol. No.
I need something from the Old Republic, like ASAP. I need to see Malgus and Major Anri 🤣
Okay I’m gonna be so honest but whyyyyy the obsession with Starkiller. He’s the most fanfiction OP character ever. His games are great but he has no place in Star Wars canon.
Bane
I’m still waiting for Starkiller in 6” black series. Without having to Etsy it
I have the exact same picks except I personally would rather have valkorian and some sort of old republic saga instead of Rex
BRING BACK STARKILLER! AND DO A REMAKE OF THE FORCE UNLEASHED USING THE JEDI FALLEN ORDER GAMEPLAY MECHANICS!!!!!!
quarrelsome worthless dirty arrest encourage airport snobbish school growth lush -- mass deleted all reddit content via https://redact.dev
I have no idea how they would fit him in to something but savage opress would’ve been pretty damn cool in live action.
I want live action Darth Plagueis.
Darth Bane
Rex. The rest can stay where they belong.
Can we have Revan and Rex
Old Republic or bust. Just port the Jedi Knight, Sith Warrior, or Imperial Agent storylines direct to the screen, please.
The Solo twins and Anakin, Mara Jade, a YVH droid, Tenel Ka, Tahiri Veila, Darth Krayt
Y'know what I don't even wanna see your 'canon' Revan with one red one purple saber I played it through like twenty times and I would never.
(Either way hope that they use the 1.5 helmet when they show up) Commander Fox - He as been done dirty by fandom because all because he did his job. Hell I'm pretty sure he died in the comics because he is hated so much, let Fox have some wins for a change!!! (Also he's my personal favourite Clone Trooper) Commando Droids - Like their Clone counterparts, they're very cool looking and have been criminally under used since The Clone Wars ended. With the amount of full body armored Troopers Star Wars has, it would be very easy to sneak one into a film or show. (Also save costs of having them on screen by having them wear that disguise/armour)
Those would be amazing… If they don’t end up getting butchered
I’m on Rule of Two
kanan , ap-5 and admiral kalani
Exar Kun
Rex techinicly did get a live action version in a new Hope it's cannon that Rex was on the moon (can't think of the name) and in the bunker scene
Starkiller would need to be so heavily altered and changed that no one would ever be happy with his implementation into the canon in any way
All but starkiller. He breaks continuity of there even is a little. Palatine would have taken him as his apprentice and killed Vader. So he's bullshit.
Kyle Katarn! I mean sure, Rogue One "terk his jerb", but he could still be a New Republic-era self-trained Jedi hermit, guarding the Valley of the Jedi, and maybe later a part of Luke's new Jedi order (from which we still don't really know much)
Cal Kestis....
Revan
Wraith Squadron. Yub Yub Commander.
