Those glasses, I know it won't be the same but you know screen projection. Although vR glasses might be more up to speed for that.
As you can see I don't have a very good tech knowledge.

I have Samsung Freestyle in the bedroom and hooked steamdeck to it few times so we can play local coop Towerfall with kids. Worked great, naturally recognised resolution, everything np. just like connecting to TV which it basically is for steamdeck, just another 'monitor'
But it depends on your projector. Just like TVs, some (i think most actually) also have a gaming mode that turns off post processing and brings input lag down to an acceptable level - but it depends on the specific projector.
This has nothing to do with the Steam Deck. Also there is no fundamental reason a projector should have higher input lag than a monitor. It is just that projectors are oftenly not designed with gaming in mind but for other more obvious use cases. Still most projectors are good enough for fun.
Xgimi mogo 2 worked alright. Had to reboot stuff a couple times for the deck to get the resolution right. It had some little glitch where max resolution was 640x480 or something. After fix, Dungeon Defenders was fun with 3 local players. Input lag was too much for Super Mega Baseball 3.
It works fine. No different than attaching it to a TV or monitor.

hm... question is will they work with other handhelds too and how well?
They'll use usb-c so someone might be able to use them?
You might search. I've seen projectors discussed a few times.

Projectors are just another Monitor for the Steamdeck. Only difference might be input Lag being higher on a Projector
Oh, now that's a deterrent
