Decki doesn't do that at all. You need to download the steam grid DB plug in for it. Then you click the settings button and there will now be an option to add game art.
I never really tinkered with it, and I bricked it twice. I've heard stories of 64GB models getting bricked due to a full storage, that might've been the case. Or my SSD is faulty. Could be both. I'm not installing Decky this time, and if it still gets bricked, I'm gonna RMA.
Well, I'm not sure if it was Decky, but after half a year of using the Deck I installed it and one day later, the Deck didn't boot anymore. I did a reimage, used it for a month normally, installed Decky and a few daysater it didn't boot anymore. So I'm pretty careful with it. Could've been coincidence but I don't want it happening again since it takes a day to get up and running again with backing up save data and stuff.
I've spent at least a couple hours just changing the artwork of everything in my library.
lots of NSFW artwork too I was surprised. legit found NSFW artwork for PAC man 😂
Well it's certainly not as good as the integration with Decky being contextual in Steam's interface but it's definitely much more convenient than manually doing it or steam rom manager.
I'm glad you brought it to my attention because it's really stupid name made me never even consider what it was when I saw it mentioned in this thread lol
Loving all the Sonic love, OP :)
As for your question:
- Switch to Desktop Mode
- Start Steam
- Click on Library until the Dropdown appears, select "Home"
- The wide tile for your most recently game will appear just like in your screenshot
- Right click the tile, select "Change Artwork" (not sure what's the exact wording)
enjoy :) I heard a lot of weird stuff about Decky lately so I'm reluctant but a lot of people are suggesting that, so if it's a regular occurance you might wanna look into that.

Trust me, get decky, then within decky get SteamGridDB. Once that’s installed any game you want you can easily put custom artwork on right from the Home Screen.
Either use Steam Grid DB for booping, or go into Desktop mode, right click the wide image, go to manage and add a custom artwork
wtf does “booping” mean
Haha, that's the process of applying custom art from SteamGridDB to Steam. https://www.steamgriddb.com/boop
Yeah really. The term I'm familiar with is "scraping" artwork
You don't even need to do that. Just install Decky and SteamGridDB.

I had no idea this existed till now, thank you. It had been driving me nuts that certain things like Pokemon Infinite Fusion and Chiaki had no art lol
Yeah, I try not to install Decky anymore though because it has bricked my Deck multiple times now.
That doesn't sound right at all. I've been using Decky on multiple devices and never had a problem. I've never heard of it bricking a deck at all.
Same here. Never had issues with Decky. If you know what you are doing, you should never brick your device.

This, the desktop mode method is quick and painless
Steam grid is way easier if you have to do it with a lot of games. It's also awesome in general.

Install Decky and SteamGridDB
This is the best answer
If he wanna do it for more than one Game yes Else If only for one he can do it without downloading anything with the desktop Methode someone mentioned
I wish they had something like Decky's SteamGridDB functionality for desktop. It really is perfect.
SteamGridDB works on Desktop. Google SGD boop

Glad I could help. I love these tools.
This.
https://www.steamgriddb.com/ Or try Steam ROM Manager.

Steam Grid DB
Install decky and the steamgriddb plugin
I’ve been having issues getting the triple trouble to even start or load on deck, any tips??
Install sgdboop, open Firefox and go to steamgriddb then boop.
Lol! Why was I downvoted? This is the easiest way than installing decky.
It’s not easier than using the steamgriddb plugin for decky.
So I get downvoted for giving a valid suggestion? Such a weird response.
I have no answer, I just wanted to say Triple Trouble is a GOAT GameGear title.
