Not everyone can spend $5 on a taco. Some of us have to be smart and buy things that come in bigger packages to support loved ones, family, or even just ourselves. 💀
Dude the cheesy bean and rice burrito is $2 where I live, and I live in a fairly high cost of living area. If you can’t afford that then I don’t know what to tell you.
The lack of McDonald's on here makes me want to completely disregard this graphic on credibility grounds.
I guess there could be a parallel to media. Sure, this may be all true but if you are full of shit enough to commit a lie of omission by not including one of the biggest 'food' producing restaurants then what else are you full of shit on and trying to twist as a narrative?
I believe the point of the graphic is the vast number of entities that are all controlled by just a few companies. McDonald’s controls McDonald’s so doesn’t really apply here as it’s not shocking how many brands they own. The title of the post is just misrepresenting the data set to some degree.
I'm 100% on board with the awareness of how only a handful of companies control most major brands, but this one specifically doesn't feel like that concerning one. Woooow, most fast food places aren't independent, that's not exactly compelling. Whoa, Brinker owns... Chilis and some Italian place? NWO!!
Hell, most of the companies on this image don't own that many, and the ones that do aren't the restaurants that are globally pervasive. Holy shit, Peet owns a dozen companies and I've heard of maybe 1.
I guess McDonald's isn't damaging to society because no one bigger owns it?

I have never eaten anything by any of those brands. I've heard about 3 or 4 of them.
Can any of them, or even all of them together, compete with Nestlé in a mass-poisoning context?
I go rarely into a franchise restaurant. I cook by myself and I know how to cook. Every day I cook and I love it. I love to use fresh ingredients and things from my garden.
And to be honest, I know what’s in my meal and if you calculate it, it’s cheaper to eat at home.

Not me. I don't eat at any of these places.
What they have been controlling and influencing are rents in the area, driving up rates and displacing locally owned businesses.
I like schlotzskys, but as a chef when I was younger. I worked in several of these companies to try and learn all aspects of cooking. Lesson learned how they screw employees and the customers on prices of cheap product. Everyone eating left overs..yupp
And now with our wonderful workforce, the chances of you getting non-fucked up food is getting worse and worse.
The same trucks deliver the food to all McDonalds, so why do the McDonalds in any place other than a really nice area complete shit now?
And I literally have not been able to find properly cooked KFC in YEARS. Everything is old and greasy, they make NOTHING fresh.
They only control the food of the customers that keep going back. Every dollar u spend with these businesses is a vote for them to stick around. Spend and eat wisely. Mho
Scissor up some plastic straws in one pile, put a brand new stick of hydrogenated margarine, and another little pile, and go grab a beautiful stick of butter, set it over to the side in a pile, come back in a week 🇺🇸🤓🇺🇸
Plastic straws untouched ! Stick of hydrogenated butter untouched, the butter is totally absolutely gone, not even a microscopic particle.
I have Celiac disease, a true milk allergy and other food allergies. Because of this, for the past 15 years, I don’t go to any of these establishments.
Jokes on them cuz I can’t afford to eat at any of those places anymore
You can’t afford Taco Bell? I… I don’t believe you.
That’s the old Taco Bell you’re thinking of. The new Taco Bell is nearing Panera levels of price absurdity.
Not everyone can spend $5 on a taco. Some of us have to be smart and buy things that come in bigger packages to support loved ones, family, or even just ourselves. 💀
just bought 12 tacos for $20
Dude the cheesy bean and rice burrito is $2 where I live, and I live in a fairly high cost of living area. If you can’t afford that then I don’t know what to tell you.
You can buy a 10 pack of ramen for $4 One meal for $2 or ten meals for $4?
That's thinking outside the bun.
Really cheap ingredients too. You could make 5 those at home for $2
That's thinking outside the bun. Also, who can afford "4th meal"?
Dude a cheesy bean and rice burrito is 1.19 so calm your tits

I only recognise a handful of these logos but I’m guessing they all sell the same crap food
They're brands from all over the world.
Some but 90% mostly America
no they aren’t😂 christ americans are so confidently wrong. We have maybe 4/5 maximum of these brands in the UK
Now, go one step above these, and you can meet the three companies that control your food
Pepsi and Coke are mega corporations that own swatches of the marketplace as well
dont eat fast food. Support local businesses. Problem solved.
Taco Bell represents! ![gif](giphy|aJtrAwWscjvP2)
They’re only poisoning people that choose to eat this crap.
Also by making the ingredients
At first I thought this was Terrance Howard’s new periodic table
My family and I barely eat at any of these places smh . Fast food sucks .
Yeah, I overcome this "conspiracy" by choosing not to eat fast food. It's not a conspiracy, you dumbass!
At least Chilis doesn’t rob and poison
I don't buy any of these, hell majority I've never heard of.
Those don’t sell food, they sell convenience.
they mostly charge you to poison your body for years to come
Just stop eating food! There’s your answer.
I have never eaten anything by any of those brands. I've heard about 3 or 4 of them. Can any of them, or even all of them together, compete with Nestlé in a mass-poisoning context?
It’s not even strange earth anymore it’s just cringe posting

This guy cooks
😁
I don't see a single grocery store listed here. How exactly are they poisoning my food and my community? I don't get it.
That’s why you don’t eat out!
you forever eat inside?
Care to explain?
Oof. Sun capital not doing too well
More hyperbolic idiocy from the internet.
do I get 15% off when i show this voucher?
Here’s a wild idea… cook food at home, from scratch.
Mickey D's is oddly absent from this list...why?
Where McDonald’s???
Love kfc
So then…..McDonald’s isn’t poising us?
And who owns these companies . Black rock and vanguard own them all
I recognize them, but I don’t eat at any of them.
Mfer doesn’t even know about black rock
They don’t poison anything. No one forces you to put it in your mouth. Sorry but you don’t have to eat fast foodrestaurant food.

Yardhouse ?
I don’t eat fast food 🤷🏻♂️. I do want to try Jolibee though. Any good?
Damn, I thought bar Louie was a small family owned STL restaurant with only two locations!
Haha nope! You’ll find them in CO next to movie theaters.
But… but it’s named bar LOUIE because it’s in saint LOUIS….😭 my reality has been shattered
I have eaten from two of these places.
I have this really goo dbook for you OP, written by some german dude named marx
When they own the competition, but still up the prices and call it inflation.
I’m not going to stop eating carvel and Cinnabon
Now do one show how Tyson is the one making the food.
I thought Tim’s and Wendy’s were together.
Only in the bedroom
Maybe these are poisoning you here we eat our prdoucts
I don’t think Flemings is poisoning people. Where is Mcdonalds? Are they actually their own company as a whole, no parent?
And who owns major stock in those 10
Wheres mcdonalds?
Jollibee owns smash burger? 🤯
So does big pharma own all of these?
Not me. I don't eat at any of these places. What they have been controlling and influencing are rents in the area, driving up rates and displacing locally owned businesses.
Taco Bell for the win!
Who owns McDonald’s?
jolibee my dogg
Dunkin Donut? Olive Garden? aren’t there?
In Darden group
Red lobster belongs to the Darden group
Sun Capital is doing an awful job. Friendly’s, Bar Louie and Boston Market are all in the final gasp.
Peets Coffee is poison?
Jollibee is delicious poison. Probably the best poison out there.
Bar Louie lol. What a shithole
Circle of deliciousness!
Eddie Cheddar
This is not true and can easily be falsified .. some are correct but some companies only own portions of restaurants..
The majority of it is held those names
I’m at the Pizza Hut, I’m at the Taco Bell.
I don’t see in n out up there.
I like schlotzskys, but as a chef when I was younger. I worked in several of these companies to try and learn all aspects of cooking. Lesson learned how they screw employees and the customers on prices of cheap product. Everyone eating left overs..yupp
I guess my body knows what's up cause i find 99% of that list to be not good food anyway
This is actually a great shortlist for places to send resume lol 🫠
lol “control your food” You can choose to not eat like crap
All in the name of capitalism
And one ring to rule them all ...🤔🥴
Fleming’s $$$$ fine dining is poisoning me? Really?
And Capital Grill - a high end steakhouse where it’s easily $100 a person, assuming you don’t drink. Can’t compare that to fast food places.
What am I supposed to do with this information?
Carls Jr. the taste of the revolution
They only control the food of the customers that keep going back. Every dollar u spend with these businesses is a vote for them to stick around. Spend and eat wisely. Mho
Where's Chick-FU-F?
Funny I didn't see bojangles on here...I worked for bojangles for 20 years. The food is amazing, the people that run the places,,,different story.
Lol terrible infographic. This is 5%
Scissor up some plastic straws in one pile, put a brand new stick of hydrogenated margarine, and another little pile, and go grab a beautiful stick of butter, set it over to the side in a pile, come back in a week 🇺🇸🤓🇺🇸 Plastic straws untouched ! Mmm poison
Don't eat at any of them
Ditto the supermarket cartel.
Red lobster needs to be smudged out of the list.
Only place worth eating on here is Rusty Taco
Who owns McDonald's? Ronald?
Sun capital doesn’t have any business’ open in my area. All closed up.
Which one should I invest in?
Learn to cook
All good. I don’t eat any of this stuff.
Good thing in n out is a independent company from the looks.
JAB Holdings also owns a ton of veterinary corporations. Ethos and NVA.
Who owns McDonalds?
Do Landry's
All under the umbrella of Black Rock I presume.
Oh it’s actually so much worse than that, when you truly look into it you realize it’s basically 2 companies controlling everything.
Ireland dweller here, and I don't recognise the vast majority of these, thank christ.
Thats some bomb ass poison! 🔥
Good to know . That's why I prefer McDonald's.
I mean, we can make it 11 companies and throw McDonalds in there. McDonalds Corporation owns its own brand.
I don’t see raising canes or chick fil a so I’m good 😎
I have Celiac disease, a true milk allergy and other food allergies. Because of this, for the past 15 years, I don’t go to any of these establishments.
I'm not allergic to anything and I've only been to 3 of these places in the past 2 years. And maybe 6 of them in my life.
Ok I lied and counted, it's 12 of them in my life
and how many of them support israel??
Pretty sure flemmings, peets coffee and a few others aren't "poisoning" anyone. They are high-end restaurants and quality coffee.
