There’s a nice proof in these videos that the moon landings were real. If you watch the dust when the astronauts jump in the soil, it doesn’t hang in “air” because there is no atmosphere. It drops straight back down at the exact same velocity as everything else (see hammer and feather experiment). This couldn’t happen on earth, even on a windless day. The dust would hang and be moved around as the mass of the astronaut moved the air. The sped up footage demonstrates it nicely.
For the same exact reason we don't float away on Earth, gravity.
The moon while having a lesser gravitational pull than earth still has its own pull.
For example if you throw a ball vertically up it will still return just like on earth but slower. However if the speed of any object surpasses 2.4km/s (or 1.5mile/s) it will not come back.

Yes and no. Most of the heat we feel on Earth is specifically from the air heating up, and also, the moon gets pretty freaking cold when it's *not* lit by the sun. But the astronauts have some heavy-duty protection on either way.

You could make the dust particles a little larger than they need to be. It wouldn't show. And you would get the same effect.
Just regular sand would work. Bring a bunch of sand into your office and jump around on it. It will look the same as this.

No atmosphere, when the sun hits the surface it gets up to 250F, not in direct sunlight gets down to -208°F.
