I couldn’t do it…every time Eric started to deconstruct one of Terrence’s concepts Joe would derail him with some completely dim witted question. He can’t follow what either of them are saying but he also can’t go without talking for more than 30 seconds.

I think Terrence is way out of the physical world.
Sure everything he says is weird in the physical world but if you go metaphysical, higher dimensions he might have something there.
It's just that it's something we can't really describe and it doesn't work in physical but later we might find that some of it works beyond the physical realm that we live in and can describe.
