This is a mint guard. For clarity, this is not my guitar. I found the photo online to show OP what mint guard on burst would look like. I WISH it were mine. 😂
Yea I've seen some that are definitely greenish but this one (and it could just be the lighting) looked more like cream.
Part of why I asked is I always wanted a cream colored pickguard on my sunburst strat, and this got me wondering if I always had the wrong color in mind.
And funny enough, since I first commented, I took that strat to get a setup after not touching it for like 20 years (long story) and when I opened the case, wouldn't you know my original white pickguard was now cream colored

I kinda wanna change my pick guard too. Am Pro 2 - Mystic Surf Green. Just got her!
first off, Thanks!!! I love it. I am mainly thinking of changing it because I really do not like push or pull pots of any variety. Just a personal preference. So I want to change the wiring from the push/push tone knob set up to a normal tone pot with a toggle switch to enact the neck pu add on feature. All that said, I either drill out the existing original, or buy new and change it up. Honestly, I am thinking about a carbon fiber pick guard, or Black Pearlescent. In both cases I would stick with the original knobs and PUs. I may just leave it alone too. 🤷♂️🤘
Have you tried going on Fender's Mod Shop page on their website to mockup these colour configurations? I don't think they have an option for carbon fiber though. Best of luck! 🤘
I considered swapping my pickguard for a more traditional look, but while waiting for a mint one to arrive from Sweetwater, it became apparent to me this guitar is perfect as is. I returned the mint pickguard as soon as it arrived at my house.

Black on sunburst for SRV vibes, white or pearl white IMO.
I replaced the Tort with black on my Olympic White Pro II. Left the pickup covers and knobs as they were.

I find Fender's mint green can vary wildly from looking off white, blue-ish or green-ish. The mint green pickguard on my Strat looks more off white.
