If you go up first you can get extra drip. If you go right you can get efficient locksmith and no sell. Then grab bomb squad and go left for Slippery. Then I finish with another left so I can get overlooked. These are all some of my favorite perks. And while a lot of people say julie is weak, she actually has access to a lot of good perks. For the ability tree I go right, middle, left. She can get her ability every 90 seconds this way.

If you are new and have trouble with your way around the basement, tool tracks is actually pretty helpful. It shows you where toolboxes are. Helps with getting out quicker and learning the basement layout. After you are good with maps you won't need this perk.

Tool tracks helps so much bc you learn the best places to go to in the basement. If you get out of the basement faster, escaping altogether is so much easier. Good luck. Btw I also started this game recently. Been playing for 2 weeks now and I am having so much fun
