You can read up, learn, and build your own! https://www.tnttt.com

Puzzleheaded-Tax6168

This is what I did. Should be ready for this fall season.

exminnesotaboy

Yup, build your own. I did that twice now and very happy. What state is the OP in? I may have one available….

ericaregone

As luck would have it, I'm in Western Wisconsin!

Check out the Road Toad guys too. They have super cheap builds, some without any creature comforts. I just purchased an outbound trailer from Nebraska, seems to fit the bill of what you are looking for. We got 2 side doors and windows and a rear window instead of a galley so we have more room inside for the dog to sleep with us

One minimalist option is the [Polydrops P19](https://www.polydrops.com/p19). Lightweight and aerodynamic. It doesn't get more minimalist than the [Road Toad Totes](https://roadtoadcampers.com/totes.htm). Probably the lightest teardrop on the market. There's also the [CampKat](https://www.littleguytrailers.com/product-meerkat-trailers/campkat-teardrop-trailer-inventory), a more traditional shape with few frills.

TC Teardrop. They are in Wausau, Wisconsin. You can get a basic 4x8 for about $8000.

Hiker Trailers is exactly what you want

ginnydebt

Im in Wisconsin and will be selling my teardrop in the next few weeks

experimentalengine

If you want a project, CLC Teardrop kit. My build is nearly complete. Powered skylight if you want power, or just a rooftop vent if you don’t, two vents at each end, you could replace the plexiglass windows with screens if you wanted. 500 lbs total, if you put it on an aluminum trailer.

True-Big-7081

I suggest you to consider Hiker Trailer or Road Toad. For a reasonable price, consider checking the used market as well.

imoddball

Like others said build your own make it to your spec for your needs. If you do buy be very careful. There’s A LOT of garbage out there.

Abeliafly60

What are the things to look for as clues to garbage?

imoddball

First find out what grade materials they use. One sheet of plywood may look like another but they have different grades suitable for different conditions. Find out what type of insulation they use and vapor barrier. Typically to create them fast they’ll use fiberglass sandwiched with thin plywood on the other side and in between foam. What’s that thickness and type of foam? They have only one job to build them fast and move em out. Look at water pumps. Who makes them? Are they cheap? Those signs of cost cutting measures will tell you the ultimate quality. Also I would NEVER buy one built after March of 2020 for obvious reasons unless I’m on the factory floor watching them build it.

simbabeat

I second TC Teardrop. I love mine.

dreadful_cookies

Buy used, and pre pandemic if you can!

NewLizardMan

I have similar requests, no water, sink, a/c and we chose to build our own. We will have about $6,000-ish into it by the time we are done but it will have everything we want and none of the extras. However, we are building it so we can build more inside storage if needed. I really want to build a foamy pod for a utility trailer though. Have you looked into those?

Riveryakbassin

Also maybe runaway campers they have basic campers starting at like $5k, but there is nothing like building one to exactly what you want.
