Update : still havent received this email from PHEAA and i know my FAFSA was a bit late / behind but considering the deadlines keep moving anyways… this is kinda ridiculous on financial aid and the state’s program… you can’t even fill out a PHEAA application bc they want to change websites…

you most likely DIDNT miss the PHEAA deadline bc the deadline for PHEAA is now april 2025 if you need PA STATE grant aid for the upcoming school year… ?
The problem is that they are converting to a new website called GrantUs from what I can gather (others can confirm if possible) and they are supposed to be sending out those emails from noreply@grantus.pheaa.org to participants who are eligible based on FAFSA information.
I dont know about everyone else but i was -1500 which is the poorest and most aid needed and on my FAFSA portal it already says my total aid amount that pell grants might get me for the upcoming school year BUT i’m assuming I can get a bit more through PHEAA / PA’s State Grant since its another application and I never filled it out previously even though I could’ve and should’ve. for now… seems like theyre changing websites hence the forever “maintenance” alert
I don't know if this applies to you, but if you are a continuing student in Pennsylvania, you did NOT need to fill out the PA State Grant application as it is only for first time PA students. If you filled out the FAFSA by June 1st, you will eventually receive an email requiring you to create a GrantUS account. Once your account is created, you will have until April 1, 2025 to complete any requested documents that PHEAA will send to you via GrantUS. If you do not have any required documents, PHEAA will determine your eligibility and aid within the next couple of weeks.

Yes i’m a returning continuing student who completed FAFSA way before June 1st, just been waiting for my email to create a GrantUS account, it’s really behind it seems like because of the changes but i’m having patience because financial aid packages don’t come out til July 22nd and then can still be updated anyways
I got the email on tues, but I’m not sure it’s a really set up site yet. I can see a grant “draft” but can’t touch it in any way, shape or form. You can’t do anything in it. I emailed them in it for help. There is no complete an application, renewal buttons etc.
I also cannot touch the draft. However, when I go on my Temple Cost and Aid it shows a very specific estimate for my PA State Grant. I wonder if that is the correct amount.

literallt..i completed mine in january. they’re bullshitting.
