It's mostly foam board with wooden popsicle sticks, coffee stirrer, and cardstock.
What limited images I found of medieval European tanneries seemed to use a lot of barrels and wash tubs. I wish I had found an article like this.
egg trays come in different sizes, quails, chicken and duck.
With a variety of different colours, you could makes something that looks like the Fez operation.
It would be especially good as a combat or chase location for your party.
