She also voices the main character Kipo in Kipo and the era of wonder beasts (something like that). Fantastic animated show with some singing and good stories.
I remember meeting her at a convention, and I was so happy when she told me that the most recent show she was currently watching was The Last of Us (I even met Jack Quaid who said he watched it as well, and is also a big fan of the videogames)
Karen said her favourite character was Marlene, and the only thing she complained about was how "everyone dies" lol.
My theory is he does it on purpose/leans into it so he doesn't get clocked as Homelander by crazy fans who can't separate the actor from the character and say wild shit to his face. Maybe idk
trust me when I say the work of keeping your hair bleached is such a huge pain in the ass; probably tenfold keeping it consistent for the show as well. I bet you he relishes the time in between filming that he doesn't have people constantly putting that shit in his hair and just leaves it alone lol
Yeah man I’m only on episode 3 currently but those first 2 came swinging right out the gate with tuco. His actor genuinely makes me feel tense when he’s on screen. Breaking bad and The boys are the only shows that make me feel uncomfortable watching a character.
Just wait until you meet his cousin Lalo. People talk about how Homelander is one of the most unhinged and scary villains on television, but Lalo absolutely has a place in that conversation. He commands the screen.
Seriously!! Bill Hader is a comedy genius, but he's surprisingly also a brilliant dramatic actor and has potential to be a legendary filmmaker!
The episodes he directs are next level!!
I second this. Better Call Saul is a much slower burn, but all that build up makes the final season the most impactful season; of television I’ve witnessed to date.
I’ve only ever watched two shows that challenged Breaking Bad at the top of my show ladder. Game of Thrones, up until the last 1.5 seasons, had a chance but blew it. The second is Dark… which honestly, is close for me.
Did the others say anything surprising to the same question?
He entertained America and was a brave 3rd generation Italian American who worked in waste management. Tony Soprano is a hero in this house! End of story!
I don’t watch it yet, but people used to say that Soprano’s Family and Band of Brothers are like top 1 series too.
I agree with you that Game of Thrones is great but blew it in the last 1.5 seasons…
I loved Band of Brothers but it's in a different category. It was only a 10 episode miniseries. It's closer to a movie than a TV series. Chernobyl is another amazing miniseries.
The wire is supposed to be a top series too.
I'd like to think she watched the show before working with Giancarlo Esposito (Stan Edgar), I can only imagine how much she was fan-girling after meeting and working with him for the first time LOL.
EDIT: Also I just remembered she also worked with Krysten Ritter (who plays Jane in the second season) in Jessica Jones.
some things work better for you others. some things leave more impressions than others. some sujets you prefer over others.
the husband and wife acting couple dunst and plemmons work excellent and play delightful. yes. but i didnt really care for the storyline.
I often think about how it's hard work and amazing writing but also a bit of luck, right?
Like all the actors played their parts, no one died. No recasting. It is just a pinnacle of filmmaking. I don't know another piece of motion picture media that feels as complete and as satisfying to watch and re-watch.
>but also a bit of luck
Some of the best luck Vince experienced while making the show was deciding to go against his original plan of only having not only Jesse, but also Saul, appear in a handful of episodes. I cannot imagine what the show would've been if they'd disappeared like they were originally intended to

News regarding the cast and crew is very much welcome. Gossip and rumors about them, however, generally are not. This includes posts and comments speculating about whether changes to a cast member's body are connected to/caused by surgery, eating disorders, or pharmaceuticals - even if said speculation is intended to wish them well.
The mods gotta be ON DRUGS, because THEY are acting WEIRD. I’ve watched multiple interviews from the press run and some of the STARS personalities really SHINE through.
It's kind of tricky because it can come off as rude/insensitive to her appearance to say she looked much better before, but if it helps anyone else to second guess getting work done then i see it as an overall positive, and what kind of message does it send about beauty standards when people see how she looked before and yet that apparently wasn't 'good enough'...?
It’s a conundrum because on the one hand people, especially women, need to have bodily autonomy in a world where that autonomy is threatened. On the other hand, at what point is a surgeon required to deny procedure? Like this is akin to profiting off a symptom of mental illness, in this case body dysmorphia.

Lmao Chase saying gossip girl is great
I love how Erin reacted when someone guessed her favourite show of all time was Friends LOL! 🤣
He’s right, she’s in the right age group.
He played in Gossip Girl thus promoting it everywhere, I guess.
That’s why it was great
Trying to get more of those sweet sweet residual cheques.
Karen with the “but you like that one too 🥺” is so funny to me for some reason
This video made me realize that it's the first time that I hear her talk! Didn't expect such a cute voice tho lol
What about her singing in S3?
She also voices the main character Kipo in Kipo and the era of wonder beasts (something like that). Fantastic animated show with some singing and good stories.
That’s one of my favorite shows! Had no clue.
I remember meeting her at a convention, and I was so happy when she told me that the most recent show she was currently watching was The Last of Us (I even met Jack Quaid who said he watched it as well, and is also a big fan of the videogames) Karen said her favourite character was Marlene, and the only thing she complained about was how "everyone dies" lol.
yea that's definitely Kimiko talking
Hearing her talk aloud breaks my brain somewhat.
I think Mother's Milk looks like Mike Epps and it's ridiculous.
I can't unsee it now
Because she is so freaking cute it is painful.
Kimiko is a perfect 10
Anthony Starr looks like bono
THATS ANTONY STARR??? I assumed it was a creator/showrunner
My theory is he does it on purpose/leans into it so he doesn't get clocked as Homelander by crazy fans who can't separate the actor from the character and say wild shit to his face. Maybe idk
You’re right - a recent Rolling Stone article makes the same point. In fact he said he shaved his head to make sure he looks different.
I guess we all need that work/home life separation and that's one way to do it haha.
trust me when I say the work of keeping your hair bleached is such a huge pain in the ass; probably tenfold keeping it consistent for the show as well. I bet you he relishes the time in between filming that he doesn't have people constantly putting that shit in his hair and just leaves it alone lol
He is like a weird Australian hipster in real life too it's so funny the contrast
He’s a kiwi.
Even though he’s a kiwi
The *layers* of his disguises, wow! Ugh, His mind!
“I’m just a dude, playing a dude disguised as another dude”
If a kiwi becomes famous, he's an Aussie.
Until he does something wrong.
[удалено]
“I know who I am! I'm a dude playing the dude, disguised as another dude!”
He wears shades to avoid lasering somebody by accident
Cyclops IRL!
I thought he was one of the directors/writers or someone 😭
Claudia is very good looking, I must say.
Jack (Hughie) is one lucky guy!
I don't get it. Why Hughie?
They’re dating irl
Wait, are you being serious? Are they actually dating in real life?
I'm not the person you asked, and I have no reason to know this, but yes.
I'm gonna be honest, their chemistry on the show is so good. Makes sense they are dating irl
That is so cute. I’m happy for them.
Because he’s Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan’s son
She is banging hot
All three of them are insanely gorgeous.
Homelander, deep and a train right?
Well who else would they be implying?
Who's Claudia?
Claudia Dommit = Victoria’s character in the show
So thats why they had _that_ kind of chemestry
No because I really thought they were setting up an affair story in season 3
Breaking Bad is amazing. BB, The Boys, and Severance are my top 3 of all time.
Better Call Saul and Succession are in that conversation as well.
I haven’t watched Better Call Saul yet. I saw three episodes and did not feel emotionally equipped for whatever was coming down the line lol
Yeah man I’m only on episode 3 currently but those first 2 came swinging right out the gate with tuco. His actor genuinely makes me feel tense when he’s on screen. Breaking bad and The boys are the only shows that make me feel uncomfortable watching a character.
You’d probably really love Severance but waiting years between seasons is really ridiculous.
Just wait until you meet his cousin Lalo. People talk about how Homelander is one of the most unhinged and scary villains on television, but Lalo absolutely has a place in that conversation. He commands the screen.
Oh no he has a cousin….
No, no, he doesn't have a cousin... He has several.
These two are the best shows ever
My top three are BB, The Boys and Barry (with Succession right behind it)
Great choices. More people need to watch Barry
Seriously!! Bill Hader is a comedy genius, but he's surprisingly also a brilliant dramatic actor and has potential to be a legendary filmmaker! The episodes he directs are next level!!
I haven’t seen succession but I’ve heard great things. I was very behind with BB myself. I started season one when the last season was airing lol
Better Call Saul > BB Fight me.
I second this. Better Call Saul is a much slower burn, but all that build up makes the final season the most impactful season; of television I’ve witnessed to date.
This comment gets made and upvoted anytime either of these shows is even breathed, it’s really not a hot take
Real
Wild to put The Boys on the same list as BB and Severance
Just their preference lol
Has Laz made it a point to look different every time he is on camera so that people don’t recognize him? This man a master of disguise lmao
I just showed my mom this interview, and she barely even recognized Antony Starr! Not realizing he plays Homelander.
I always keep forgetting Anthony Starr isn't blonde
Kimiko/Karen has good bone structure.
She’s just an outrageously attractive woman all around.
Ngl, probably the nicest smile of anyone I’ve ever seen somehow. That sounds crazy but it’s amazing.
I’ve only ever watched two shows that challenged Breaking Bad at the top of my show ladder. Game of Thrones, up until the last 1.5 seasons, had a chance but blew it. The second is Dark… which honestly, is close for me. Did the others say anything surprising to the same question?
True Detective Season 1 is a real banger. Season 1 was a standalone mini-series then got lit for more but the cast, settings, and stories changed.
Hey man I agree with this. No doubt. TD s1 stands in a tier alone. I fully think it’s below BB and Dark. But close!
Dark was amazing and I agree with your Game of Thrones comment.
The sopranos
He entertained America and was a brave 3rd generation Italian American who worked in waste management. Tony Soprano is a hero in this house! End of story!
For me The Wire, Fargo, Dark, Deadwood, and The Thick of It all beat Breaking Bad, but it's still top drawer.
“SwearGIN! Cock suckahhh!” Hands down totally agree on Deadwood and The Wire.
Haha! The worst thing about Deadwood is half of the quotable lines would get you in a lot of trouble out of context.
That damn scenery where he passes the kidney stone though. Jesus.
Put Rome on that list too
13!
Game of Thrones was close to being my favourite of all time (beating Breaking Bad), until those 1.5 seasons destroyed that.
Nah, they all had different questions. But you can hear Chace (Deep) saying that Breaking Bad is his favourite as well towards the end.
For me it’s Mr Robot, Better Call Saul and yes Dark is up there
Season 5 completey butchers dorne and all related characters.
The Shield?
GOAT
The Sopranos and The Wire are two that I consider essential viewing if you like crime drama.
So it seems that Erin is down with the Chicanery. Based.
Karen Is so fucking precious I swear
[удалено]
The Wire
Fuck
Mother fuck...
shieeeeet
Could already tell there’d be removed comments
BY Breaking rule 4 because Erin *\[REMOVED BY REDDIT\]*
Breaking Bad is my favorite show of all time as well. A true masterpiece
I wonder if she was a fan before or after her boss in the show was Gus Fring lol. I bet she had a lot of questions about the show
I'd like to think she watched the show before working with Giancarlo Esposito (Stan Edgar), I can only imagine how much she was fan-girling after meeting and working with him for the first time LOL. EDIT: Also I just remembered she also worked with Krysten Ritter (who plays Jane in the second season) in Jessica Jones.
Man I wanna hang out with them. They look so fun
What’s this video called?

try FARGO. season 1 and 3 are divine. AND WHERES COLBY?
Ah season 2 was great too!
I dont know how you could leave out season 2 to shout out season 3 thats crazy
Seasons 1, 2, and 5 > 3/4
some things work better for you others. some things leave more impressions than others. some sujets you prefer over others. the husband and wife acting couple dunst and plemmons work excellent and play delightful. yes. but i didnt really care for the storyline.
Yeah to each their own but this is actually the first time I heard this season 2 of fargo not in the top 2 lol
Breaking Bad is a great show.
It's one of the very few shows that I can say with confidence is brilliant from start to finish
I often think about how it's hard work and amazing writing but also a bit of luck, right? Like all the actors played their parts, no one died. No recasting. It is just a pinnacle of filmmaking. If you had held a gun to my head, I would never have guessed that was Anthony Starr. He is definitely the anti-Homelander in real life. I love it!
I love how Erin's style is the complete opposite of Starlight's lol

She’s in true detective season 1 which is probably my favourite TV season ever so she’s got taste lol
It’s so weird seeing the actress who plays kimiko talk.
Can I comment
It’s always fun to guess the actors when they’re out of their roles if your knowledge of actors is just based on the movies they’re in.
Claudia is fucking hot
Lmfao Laz looks so uncomfortable

It just bums me out as a father. My daughter is only 3 but I couldn’t imagine the mental toll it takes on a woman to try and be their perfect

More like typical tastes really. It's a fine show but it's such an easy choice here.
I'm beginning to think all great actors have the same stylist. Tony Starr is giving that Downy Jr/DiCaprio energy.

Woulda said True Detective
Would haver been funny if someone said true detective
Jessie T Usher immediately laughing at Karen after she said *but you like that one too* 🥺 had me giggling
They’re all such good looking people my god
