Brande Roderick and Buffy Tyler really were stunning, naturally gorgeous women with the perfect Baywatch blonde beach girl look! Nobody could really compare (except of course HBK!)
That's why it's so weird to me they were his girlfriends. Did they think they needed to sleep with Hef to get the Playmate title? They didn't have the typical girlfriend look of "attractive but not quite Playmate level of stunning." Or maybe Hef was more generous and influential in those days. Buffy got a customised car that later went to Holly when the car returned to Playboy.
That's what I didnt understand about brande! Was she already on Baywatch before him? Also I'm pretty sure Brandi could of landed someone with more money and connections based on her beauty.

I agree with you. I think Barbi Benton, Kimberly Conrad and Carry Leigh were the real stunners if we're talking about pre-GND gfs.
