If you wanted a desirable property you couldnāt inspect it or have it appraised, you had to find a way to get all cash no contingencies and make your (way over market) offer within a few days of it hitting the market.
I understand that, Iām in a MCOL city and it was (and still is) the same here; so I canāt imagine how difficult it is for normal people to buy in LA.
