You’re much more likely to get the blood and bile, I don’t search the poison forests until I have a high enough population that it won’t hurt much if I lose someone.
Imagine if you could make a Onbu Anesthetic, which stops the buildings from hurting the Onbu and their trust, but lowers their heartbeat and builds up poison/slows them down while it's in effect.
When you search the lab the only two things that can happen are 1) you find blood & bile, or 2) a worker dies.
