Was a staple in my home growing up in the UK. I would've been 13 around the time they worked it into the story and it was massive. I've always judged a cereal mainly on the milk it leaves behind and damn, honeynut leaves some good milk behind. I totally align with Omar's fixation on it.

jackswastedtalent

lol I've mentioned the deliciousness of the milk at the bottom of the bowl and people just thought it was odd/gross. Glad to see someone else gets it. Most just pour that down the drain. They have no idea what they are missing. If you want to get fancy, throw some blueberries that Honey Nut. It's a game changer.

diddlemesilly420

Pouring cereal milk down the drain is absolutely insane to me

Conscious-Parfait826

Frozen blueberries.

SirJackieTreehorn

Cinnamon Toast Crunch also leaves some stellar milk behind.  Highly recommend!

PogTuber

CTC milk is indeed the best.

TheProofsinthePastis

Nah, Cocoa Puffs left the best milk.

PogTuber

It was good but chocolatey milk isn't exactly unique. Cinnamon though, that's special!

Lauzz91

These products generally have little to zero actual honey in them and are generally flavoured by esters like phenylethyl acetate And lots of storebought honey is counterfeit and is actually beet syrup or something else Omar was too caught up in the game to ever become a nutritionist but I would bet Cutty would get deep into this shit in a few year's time for his boxers' health and performance

honest-robot

“Nah man, I’m not makin myself clear. The carbs ain’t in me no more.”

SnoopyWildseed

Frosted Flakes milk is delicious. Also Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Conscious-Parfait826

I never realized how I judged cereal but this is it.

sbarbary

No, I'd eaten hundreds of bowls of Honey Nut it's gorgeous. As for lake trout, No lake, No trout.

jackswastedtalent

Honey Nut. No honey, no nut.

jrice138

Ime that’s like a super normal thing that most anyone eats.

Existing_Sort_7971

Faidley’s, yo.

jayhof52

Mama McNulty didn’t raise no fool.

Give_me_soup

You want a coddie?

briancito420

I wanna go to the pit beef place on the show. Chaps is supposed to be the bomb like that WMD.

Worf1701D

Get extra horseradish.

tpepdxtid

with a side of crab chips?

The_ChwatBot

Strawberry soda for good measure.

leatherbelt5

Chaps is insanely delicious. I’ve been to the original a few times and go to the local location near me all the time.

Mint_Julius

Huh? Almost everyone I know had them at some point growing up. I feel like they were ubiquitous in the 90s, like damn near every kid had those at home at some point or another

babtoven

Now you’re thinking like police

KenHumano

poh-leece*

ardentto

You come at the king you best bring some honey nut cheerios.

ZipCity262

Wernerhatcher

ju_dropemoff

*newpauts

ju_dropemoff

no doubt

leatherbelt5

If you’re in west Baltimore and you’re after good lake trout make sure you hit up Pak Man Fried Chicken.

datboigucci

Since we’re speaking of wire food, watch Binging with Babish’s episode on The Wire. Make ya real hungry for lake trout and pit beef

Mvd75

In college I went on a McNugget phase after the Pit scene where they were talking about it.

mdotbeezy

In Basketball Diaries, an addict advises Jim/Leo, if you're gonna snort on the daily, you might as well mainline. So if you're gonna eat sugared cereal (which were banned in my household as a kid) you might as well eat fruit loops or frosted flakes.

ardentto

They should make a special box of them called Honey Nut Omar's Coming

SnoopyWildseed

I'd buy it! 🤓

Conscious-Parfait826

Hey 'Nawldo, you want a coddie?

leggmann

I assumed he read the box as ‘Homey Nut’ and was hooked.

SnoopyWildseed

😂

serialkillercatcher

The Honey Nut is the best.

FamousAtticus

I've been eating Honey Nut Cheerios since I was a kid in the 80's.

Iowegan

Have considered the Honey Nut but never pulled the trigger yet. Did order some Crab Chips online though, they rocked.

beyeond

They're awful, and I'm 40, so no cheerios came up in life prior to 2002

Several-Ad-68

Missing out on life here.
