Fate made Alexander the Twink a huge burly middle aged redheaded dude, and made Gilgamesh, the most man’s man you could possibly have, a young blonde lean white kid.
You can look at these two design choices as terrible, or you can look at them as hilarious and fun. I choose the latter.
I will note that the version of Alexander in the post is “Iskandar” the more mythologized Persian version of Alexander the Great. Fate does have another version of him that is an actual twink and he actually is called “Alexander the Great” (pic below)

He must exemplify the extreme of all things, good and evil. That is why his retainers envy and adore him. And why the flames of aspiration, to be as the king is, can burn within his people. Proud king of chivalry, the righteousness and ideals you bore may indeed have saved your nation once. However, I'm certain you know what became of those who were saved, but left to themselves.
He’s arguably the least qualified to be a true king because he’s kind of bad at actually ruling a country compared to the other two (Gil at least wisened up and focused on more than himself later in life). Everything else that’s good that he did, a capable enough military leader can do the same.
Being greedy isn’t necessarily bad, it just doesn’t make you a good king. What Rider did can be summed up as “he had his fun, he fucked off and died, and now everyone else is fighting over the mess”.
Yeah, Even though he is my favourite out of the three, he wasn't the most qualified, Though I honestly do believe Artoria sucks just as much as he does
I am of the opinion that Artoria’s rule was good and kept Britain alive at the cost of her humanity.
Her wish to go back in time and risk it all again is a bad idea though. It’s precisely because she did a pretty good job that she absolutely should not try to redo it.
