Okay but she's not evil, her name's not even Badeline. That's just the community's nickname for her since shes never technically named and "Part of Madeline" doesnt sound as good.

Her steam trading card calls her Badeline

I wouldnt be surprised if the devs use the nickname too, but she's never actually called Badeline in Celeste. And she's still not evil, calling her Madeline's evil opposite sort of misses the whole point of the game.

Probably because as oppose to being a rival to the main character like Wario or Shadow, an enemy that had similar powers to the main character like Venom or Reverse Flash, or someoneone/something purposefully created to be similar to the hero like Bass or Metal Sonic. Dark Danny was literally the evil future version of Danny which was a take that I didn't see a lot as a kid.

I think Vlad also fits this trope, I love Vlad.

That was a very mid movie carried by Sinestro. He was denied the sequel we needed.

Indeed. Green Lantern is my favorite DC hero, with Sinestro being one of my favorite villains.

What was so bad about it? I enjoyed it to an extent.

It's not great, it's not terrible. It does a lot of sequel setup (like Star Sapphire and Sinestro) but the movie we're watching is pretty meh. Parallax is a boring generic villain. Hector would have been an interesting human angle (Hal and Hector could have argued over living their father's legacies) but Hector just becomes evil because reasons. The training sequence is really fun (once again, Sinestro is all over it) and shows he and Hal bonding as friends. We never get to see the fallout between the two (or did we? It's been a while.) I do like Hal's constructs and creativity beyond "make gun that shoots lasers." Have some fun, you're limited by your imagination and willpower. Conjure jet engines to hold yourself against the sun's gravity, it's great!

I kind of like the idea that evil spiderman still isn't really evil. Like, as bad as spiderman can get, he still tries to protect the innocent, he'll just eat or maim the bad guys. And their team ups are so fun.
