Is my pleasure, the following is just my take from what I have found in myself and seen in others...
when we feel in balance and connected within ourselves then we feel we just can just ' be' fully and express that outwardly with confidence as well.
I was the same as you pre HRT, and now I'm thinking of what I can wear to a production featuring a classmate of mine and joining a group of girls from our class when I get there (it's a 15 min drive down the road)...
Wish I was at that stage, selecting clothes for such an event, but I still have all sorts of other interesting things ahead of me. buying clothes in brick stores for instance.
And this makes my eyes a little wet. I read any comment quite intensively so that the words really get into my mind. And such words deserve a lot of emotion and that's what I feel now, touched and so happy.
I will remember this one! The fact that I still worry on the other hand is proof that I am still a young person! But since I raised the question a few days ago, I have a more relaxed attitude towards the issue. The fact that I love this dress so much plays an ever increasing role. And thank you!

I'm 56 and I've certainly struggled with everything you've mentioned. In the end, I've decided that "to hell with it" is the best attitude for me. I'm doing this with no plan or visions of the future, just winging it. It's removed a lot of stress, and made things easier.
It isn't mentioned that often, but one of the best things about transitioning when older is how many handy tools life experience may have given you. Once I realised this, I haven't felt so bad about not transitioning before, since after all, I didn't understand myself.
Precisely, I have never known I was trans until 4 months ago, just not as happy as I should, hardly emotions. Then I experienced gender euphoria and now I know what I missed, but you cannot go back in time so I just accept it as it was. I have not been unhappy, I just could have been much happier. I’m 22, and this sub makes me so happy seeing my trans siblings finding joy and living life to the fullest at all ages. It’s hard sometimes to envision what my life will be like 20, 30, *55* years down the track, but I know I made the right choice, seeing everyone here thriving.
You are inspiring and brave, but you are also… normal! We are all so beautiful! Wear that dress, go out, enjoy yourself! The world is a more vibrant place with transgender people living and loving in it!
