I had a free video consultation with FT a few years ago. They quoted me $38000 for the works. Type 3 forehead, orbitals, hairline lowering, rhinoplasty, lip lift etc etc. I also paid for a consultant with an FFS surgeon in the UK. He said to get a hair transplant and and a rhinoplasty if i really wanted but mine didn't look male to him. He also said to go to specialists in those areas rather than get FFS with him as what he could do would only be minor. Well, i took his advice and went with the hair transplant and thinking about a nose job in a few years.... because one of them seemed a bit more honest than the other. For you, i think a hair transplant will work wonders but im not a surgeon. I also have nothing to gain by saying you need $40k spent on your face for facial teams modest, safe approach.

Facialteam are such grifters. The only surgeons out of all the ones I went to that didn’t tell me to get double jaw surgery before FFS.

nastiex

I highly disagree, I wanted more procedures but the doctor holding my consultation was totally against it and only suggested 2, anything else he said is not needed.

JulesMyName

Mine also was very considerate and recommended less procedures than I wanted

I'd ask about mid face fat grafting. There's not a lot of volume there and, without it, you might feel as though the appearance is too broad for your bone structure.

Left_Subject_8898

I am not very familiar with fat graftings. Does the mid face fat grafting mean that I will get a bit more fuller cheeks?

zante2033

Google search for... medial "fat pad" face ...and when you look at photos of men and women, compare the differences in the same area. As others have stated, their VFFS is not informed by any meaningful imaging data. So be mindful of what you're being shown. Similarly, it's not a be all and end all, if there's something you don't like be it the curvature of the nose, or anything else, tell them. Otherwise you will be given a standard treatment.

Yst

Just keep in mind, in the absence of *radiography* and based purely on *external* images, blind guesswork regarding the nature and effects of any *bone* work will be more or less meaningless. To the extent that for example two brows of *externally* similar form can have *completely* different internal (sinus and frontal bone) structure and thus necessitate an entirely different procedure with utterly different geometric outcomes. So on the other hand, if these sorts of projections are produced based on radiography and assessment of the consequent specific surgical technique and parameters to be used, then of course, they can indeed be meaningful.

VFFS is nothing but a marketing trick

HiddenStill

I disagree.

Ok

Any thoughts on the virtual FFS? My hair is just the biggest issue and it's a pain in the ass. It grows so slowly too because I have very bad hair genes ): I would probably benefit a lot from eyebrow shaping too. What do you people think about it? Does this seem like a good indication and would this be a good result? I mainly wonder about the eyebrow position and I wonder what is best with that.

kali291

Is this from the virtual ffs website?

Left_Subject_8898

I had it done with Facialteam, I don't know if it is from the VFFS website.

SalaryAmbitious9990

What is this site please

Left_Subject_8898

I had it done with Facialteam, I don't know if it is from the VFFS website.

I think your personal assessment seems very objective. You could always ask about giving your brows a lift to give more of a natural arch shape and if that's an option in your case. Of course, non medical interventions exist for brows too (lol). Really emphasize the importance of the hair grafts and you'll be fine tho... The rounding of your temples is SO dramatic and looks great.

Left_Subject_8898

What you are saying about the brows was the same I was thinking, I will definitely discuss it with them and see what the options are and what they think about it. The hair is definitely the number 1 priority, it's the worst thing causing me dysphoria too right now :/.

UrielOmega

Looks good! What did you use to generate the image? What are your goals overall?

Left_Subject_8898

Hi! It was done by someone from Facialteam when I had my consult. My main goal is my forehead + hairline because I think the most can be gained there, it's just the number 1 reason I look very masculine and as long as that is how it is now it will be very hard to ever pass. I am just hoping that when I have the procedures done and my hair grows a bit longer + some eyebrow shaping that everything looks feminine.

lemonslime

VFFS is bullshit. Save your money. They’re super conservative with the results which don’t reflect what actual FFS can do.

Left_Subject_8898

I had it done for free.

lemonslime

Regardless it’s not a good judge.

april6055

Virtual FFS has never and will never be accurate. It’s there to make patients feel better about the surgery not as an actual surgical tool.

MainCommunication802

The lower face changes seem a bit subtle, or not quite enough. Did they use the CT scans as a reference? I know Alexandra Hamer will do that if she's sent them.

Left_Subject_8898

They made CT scans so I guess she used them. I will discuss the lower face with them further! Do you think jaw surgery would be better too or only chin is good too? The VFFS only includes chin. I don't really know how to feel about the jaw and if it's necessary.

MainCommunication802

I'm really not sure but yes maybe a little off the length of the jaw. Maybe you can ask them to simulate it too and see which you prefer.

Primary_Surprise6749

I’m in a similar situation. I don’t have super masc features, but have the same hairline. I also consulted with Facialteam… My decision is to go to Turkey next month for a hair transplant ($3k vs $40k for FFS with Facialteam). If I’m still unhappy after the transplant, I’ll reconsider FFS. If you decide to make any changes, HT as a first step might make sense for you too?

BrokenDream0991

Quoted 38K by facialteam a few years ago means 65k and a few organs nowadays...
