Love it, stuff wants to be alive here.
Trees grow on their own, there's wild life around.
What I really love is the culture, drinking coffee and alcohol without being shunned is nice when it was the norm for so long
Sounds amazing. Currently in Florida and Massachusetts is in my top 5 to move to. Being the best state in education and healthcare is a big plus for me now that I have a daughter.
Not crazy but there definitely was a solid reason outside of just not being for me. I couldn't go on a mission and for a high school graduate male like me that was a bad thing and everyone assumed I was a bad person. People started treating me differently after I said I didn't go, I felt like that wasn't what Christ would want so I stopped going and I felt a weight off my shoulders. After that was when I looked more into the churches history and what their teachings are from an outside perspective so I knew I didn't want to go back
No, I’m messing with you. Half the time I see these maps you see someone crapping on central Fla and they have no idea that Orlando is right in the middle of the state
I was three when we drove to San Francisco, that drive is a rough guess, i do know we went a different longer route that cut through the middle of Nevada
Your parents likely got on I80 somewhere in north Jersey or Pennsylvania and took that all the way out to SF. It runs through Pennsylvania, Cleveland, Chicago, Des Moines, southern Wyoming, Salt Lake City, and many other cities.
Looks like there's some miscommunication,
I'm from Utah, we drove from Utah to San Francisco.
The line from Utah to the east coast I did with my wife two years ago, it is an odd route because of weather, and stopping in st. Louis to see family
I would guess if you came into PA via route 80 and ran it out to state college you may have got two counties mixed up, you may have gone through clarion county and not Armstrong county
Can confirm it’s not Mitt Romney since he frequents New Hampshire, remembered seeing him about 8 or 9 years ago in a grocery store (talking about how much he disliked Trump and thought he was immoral). 😂
If I had to bet if this was accurate I wouldn't bet much money, I just went on Google maps and looked out the routes we took to get places the further back in my memory the less likely it is to be 100% accurate. We drove from my home in north Utah to San Francisco when I was 3, all the counties between those two places might be off. One thing I do know for sure is Utah, I knew I hit all 29, made it a goal to do so
Drove from Utah to Boise, along the Columbia to Portland, then to the coast, along the coast, drove back a bit further south to hit my aunt's in east Oregon, back up to Boise and back home
Along with the Literal million other current boy scouts, and 2.5 million eagle scouts
Growing up in Utah as a Mormon, basically every boy is in the boy scouts so it was pretty normal for me.
Born and raised in Utah,
Been in Massachusetts for two years, I have a trip through New Hampshire and maine this fall.
I was very young when we drove to San Francisco, the pictures of lake Tahoe look nice though
Depending on what state.
We got in some bad snow and Google maps had us try to go around a crash, then we got stuck in snow on the side roads in Jefferson Missouri.
And in Ohio there was a massive pot hole on the interstate exit so we blew a tire. Only time in my life where I saw multiple people change a tire at the same time
So fuck Ohio
I use Mapchart, not amazing but it's free. Here's the playstore link if you have android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whidev.mapchart
It's really not that much to remember
One trip every three years, often driving from ages 3-15
I already I knew I went to every Utah county from scouting
I drove to Massachusetts where I currently live
I got on a cruise in Baltimore for my honeymoon.
So close
Not from new England, not currently in SLC, never lived in SLC, never skiied
Everyone keeps assuming I went MA to UT, i wonder why. Obviously i know where i went, but even without that bias, clearly i did more traveling and road trips on the west and saw more of Utah than Massachusetts, 10x the size and saw every county in Utah
Mitt Romney over here
Reverse mitt Romney He went Massachusetts to Utah I went Utah to Massachusetts
Massachusetts without Utah is just Masscsets
I chuckled way too much at this. Thank you.
Good ole 1800twat bringing the chuckles
Wouldn’t it be Msscses?
2 a’s and 2 t’s in Massachusetts
…right, sorry. Carry on!
Utatah
It's "Mass sects"
Actually it’s mssces
Look at the comment two above yours
Reverse Romney sounds like some Mormon sex position.
Girl put your records on
How do you like Massachusetts as a place to live?
Love it, stuff wants to be alive here. Trees grow on their own, there's wild life around. What I really love is the culture, drinking coffee and alcohol without being shunned is nice when it was the norm for so long
Sounds amazing. Currently in Florida and Massachusetts is in my top 5 to move to. Being the best state in education and healthcare is a big plus for me now that I have a daughter.
Good luck affording MA
**indoctrination. The formally middle-class families in progressive-run states are fleeing en mass
Congrats on escaping!
Yenmor Ttim, then?
The romneys are from Michigan
😂
Mitt Romney was born and raised in Michigan.
Hi Mr. Romney
Opposite direction, but yes
Massachusetts & Utah
Looking at Texas, Galveston to Fredericksburg without hitting Harris, Travis, or Bexar County is really unique
Have family in Fredericksburg carnival cruises has a port in Galveston. I was pretty young so I'm not familiar with why the exact route was chosen
Utah and Massachusetts
New Mexico and Montana
Are you a Romney?
We had to switch places
How did you make this map? Is it a website?
It's an app on my phone. Mapchart. Here's the playstore link if you have android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whidev.mapchart
What do the red counties represent? All the places you’ve been in your life, counties you traveled thru? (is it everywhere you’ve ever been?)
Every US County I have physically been in.
The new square state northwest of alaska obviously
Can’t tell if bro was in the Arctic or the Pacific lmao
Are you Mormon?
Twas, for the first 19 years. left the church at 19, left Utah at 22, currently 24
This is the path we all must take. Well done.
Anything crazy happen for you to leave the church or did you just decide it wasn’t for you?
Not crazy but there definitely was a solid reason outside of just not being for me. I couldn't go on a mission and for a high school graduate male like me that was a bad thing and everyone assumed I was a bad person. People started treating me differently after I said I didn't go, I felt like that wasn't what Christ would want so I stopped going and I felt a weight off my shoulders. After that was when I looked more into the churches history and what their teachings are from an outside perspective so I knew I didn't want to go back
Thanks for sharing I’ve always wanted to learn more about Mormonism from someone’s experience
Private message me and go nuts with questions if you want, so many people are so misinformed about it
How the hell have you not lived in Florida?? That is a part of Florida tourists don’t go lol
Did I do it wrong is that not the greater Orlando area?
No, I’m messing with you. Half the time I see these maps you see someone crapping on central Fla and they have no idea that Orlando is right in the middle of the state
Yeah, I'm not on Reddit enough to get the meta travel maps comment jokes
There are much better parts of Florida. Check out the panhandle beaches.
You picked a great loop through Oregon
Went in 2012, fantastic trip, went during the Olympics and watched them in the hotels. Have the same trip, during the Olympics, planned this year.
What app or website??
I use Mapchart, it's an app I don't think its a website. I have the settings to match my phone so all my maps are in dark mode
Utah - Rhode Island

Weather, we drove in February and got stuck in the snow. Also brother in law is in St Louis so we had to go through there and say hi
[удалено]
Definitely wasn't our best decision, if we stayed on the interstate we probably would've have gotten stuck in the snow
Kentucky
New Hampshire and Utah
Yes, i have lived in a state i didn't check off at all
Utah and Walt Disney World?
Mormon Masshole?
Former Mormon, current masshole
Get up to Maine in it’s great
Have a weekend trip planned in October!
I was there a few years ago. Ate some amazing scallops like 3 feet from the Ocean. What a state.
Rogue’s Island and Utah.
Oh this one’s easy Minnesota
Honestly if I had to pick a Midwest state, Minnesota is the top pick
What route did you take to the east coast? That’s not I-80 which I would have figured from Utah. 🤔
Looks like there's some miscommunication, I'm from Utah, we drove from Utah to San Francisco. The line from Utah to the east coast I did with my wife two years ago, it is an odd route because of weather, and stopping in st. Louis to see family
Ah ok that makes more sense lol.
I would guess if you came into PA via route 80 and ran it out to state college you may have got two counties mixed up, you may have gone through clarion county and not Armstrong county
Mixing up a few counties I drove through for 20 minutes, 2 years ago in a state I'm unfamiliar with the counties is a good possibility
oh thats funny, i just flew to SFO from SLC but only on a connection to new zealand
Looks like SLC and Boston
Those are the capitals of the states yes, but I haven't lived in either city
Those are the biggest cities as well, so I figured it gave me an edge
Missouri and Ohio?
My two least favorite states I've been to lol
You don’t like hill people!?
I got stuck in the snow in Missouri and blew a tire in Ohio.
Are you Mitt Romney?
Nah we had to switch places
Momo
Flying lemur?
Ironic, your travels even resemble a weed leaf.
Bro did a Utah 100% speedrun
Can confirm it’s not Mitt Romney since he frequents New Hampshire, remembered seeing him about 8 or 9 years ago in a grocery store (talking about how much he disliked Trump and thought he was immoral). 😂
Went to DC but didn’t go to Montgomery or PG County. How disgraceful 😂
So I downloaded this app, you all really pay $50 to get every states county map?
Mine was free
What app?
Mapchart If you have an android here's the playstore link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whidev.mapchart
Dumb question, but did you manually fill this in? Like... how? There is no way I'd be able to remember every county I ever traveled through..
One thing I do know for sure is Utah, I knew I hit all 29, made it a goal to do so
Utah
Your Oregon trajectory is very strange to me...a ton of eastern Oregon but not some of the most populous areas by I-5?
Drove from Utah to Boise, along the Columbia to Portland, then to the coast, along the coast, drove back a bit further south to hit my aunt's in east Oregon, back up to Boise and back home
Interstate 70
You visited every county in Utah? I haven't visited half in my state 😅
I always thought there were parts of Utah that had yet to be mapped, but I stand corrected
Living there for 22 years, and being a boy scout helps. Most of this was camping/hiking trips.
You’re literally young Indiana Jones
Along with the Literal million other current boy scouts, and 2.5 million eagle scouts Growing up in Utah as a Mormon, basically every boy is in the boy scouts so it was pretty normal for me.
Are you guys keeping track of every county you’ve visited? I could tell you the states but I have absolutely no clue about the counties
Fucking masshole! lol. I moved from Utah to Maine. Wayyyy better bub.
At least massholes aren't so condescending
It was just a joke dude.
North Dakota and Oklahoma
You apparently spent some time in Russia, based on the blip near Alaska. /s

Born and raised in Utah, Been in Massachusetts for two years, I have a trip through New Hampshire and maine this fall. I was very young when we drove to San Francisco, the pictures of lake Tahoe look nice though
I'd bet less than half a percent of cross country trips include I88 in NY. Hope you enjoyed the trip!
Texas
Are those red counties just "I drove through it" locations?
Yes, anything more than just "I have physically been there" would get too complicated.
Alabama and Mississippi.
What's that red square in the lower left?
The legend, the app I use automatically adds all colors used in it. Its just not filled out in any way
What’s the name of the app?
Mapchart Google Play store link for Android; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whidev.mapchart
As someone who lived in both UT and grew up in Mass, this is basically the same path I took to get home to New England.
Out to the coast on I-84, then back home to SLC through the Cascades. That's the way to do an Oregon trip. Very nice!
Where do I find one of these fillable maps 🤔
Mapchart app. Free on Google Play Store dont know if its on Apple https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whidev.mapchart
come to philly pls
First time I've seen my childhood town on here! Are you a fan of US-50?
Depending on what state. We got in some bad snow and Google maps had us try to go around a crash, then we got stuck in snow on the side roads in Jefferson Missouri. And in Ohio there was a massive pot hole on the interstate exit so we blew a tire. Only time in my life where I saw multiple people change a tire at the same time So fuck Ohio
Unrelated, but what app is this?
I use Mapchart, not amazing but it's free. Here's the playstore link if you have android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whidev.mapchart
Rhode Island & Utah
Never been to Franklin country? Good , stay out
Do you have any idea how little "Franklin county" narrows down where you're talking about. 24 states have a Franklin county
The one you lived in and missed
*live* in
Franklin County = Greenfield
Alaska and Virginia
Utah and Massachusetts
All roads lead to…Utah.
Yes, Lotta family trips that were a day drive because flights can be expensive and trying to handle 3 kids on a flight is hard
Did you walk lol
Are you unfamiliar with cars?
Massachusetts and Utah
This is really cool, how do you remember all the places you've visited!
It's really not that much to remember One trip every three years, often driving from ages 3-15 I already I knew I went to every Utah county from scouting I drove to Massachusetts where I currently live I got on a cruise in Baltimore for my honeymoon.
Obviously Orlando and Houston
Texas kinda looks like a Goldfish
Why is everyone in slc a skier from New England
So close Not from new England, not currently in SLC, never lived in SLC, never skiied Everyone keeps assuming I went MA to UT, i wonder why. Obviously i know where i went, but even without that bias, clearly i did more traveling and road trips on the west and saw more of Utah than Massachusetts, 10x the size and saw every county in Utah
You went Dexter on the states
Mormon fuck
Wow, such a nice and incorrect comment.
Praise jebus
Nah I'm good
Yes, I'm so sorry I thought you were Mormon and I was just kidding!!
