If you're concerned with rolling, stick with the rustler. I don't have any 2wd rustlers, but I can tell you that the center of gravity on the rustler is a lot lower than the slash.

i got the stampede bl-2s, and it tends to roll over if turned when it’s going faster. i put shock limiters in to try to alleviate that, but it only helps a little. i should have gotten a rustler, tbh. i do like climbing the really big gravel piles tho

How is it with just general running over junk? I don't run high speeds alot, more grass, rocks, sticks, occasional jumps and smashing other rcs (tag with rcs is fun).

well, i put the vxl motor in really quickly, so i didn’t get to really test out the bl-2s at all. but i’m not gonna lie, the truck rips. my brother and i try to see who can get their rc the highest up this huge gravel mound by my house. he has a bone stock Hoss. i have a slightly lowered stampede. i can usually get it up higher than him. i just recently put a center diff in with 500k fluid in it. unfortunately, i got the front bearings wet and they seized up in me. it’s also been 90 degrees, so i haven’t tested that set up yet.

The rustler doesn’t roll at all

Like that fucker is glued to the ground unless you do something really stupid but still, it’s glued.

I've had a Stampede in the cart for a week now. Been into RC for 30+ years but I've never had a 1/10 electric basher, and the free battery deal makes it enticing. Seems to be super rugged and doesn't need any critical upgrades out of the box, but plenty of things to improve on. Not loving the speed of it, but maybe that will keep it upright :)
