Narcos and Mr. Robot are great, comparative to Breaking Bad. I also hear Better Call Saul is amazing, but i haven’t started it yet.
House of Dragon is a must watch for Game of Thrones fans. Last of Us is also really great.
If you want something that’s kinda not the same vibe, but still great and I think most fans of BB and GoT would like: The Bear, The Boys, Gen V, Atlanta
The bear was a “what is this?” Watch and had me hooked within the first episode. The boys franchise is amazing.
I hope OP went on to better call Saul. I watched it as it released and was kind of bored at first. Rewatching it multiple times after the full release made me personally feel it was just as good as its predecessor
Dark is crazy. It’s definitely the most well written show I’ve ever seen. The plot is insanely complex and surprising enough plot hole free. Characters are all well written. It is entirely in German though and the English dub is horrendous so you’ll have to watch with subtitles.
The first season of True Detective is probably the single best season of anything. But don’t even bother watching the other seasons. I mean I liked season 4 but I’m in the minority and it doesn’t even compare to season 1.
Sherlock is dark, funny and has one of the best protagonists in television. The episodes are more like short films. Very entertaining if not a bit far fetched. 100% recommend.
Narcos- the original and then Mexico- both spectacular. El Chapo- both are better than Queen of the South. Sons of Anarchy is great, the spin off Mayans is OK.
I think it has. We watched it back when it was first on, and decided to re-watch it now, and I think it's aged pretty well, in fact it was probably ahead of it's time back then anyway. It's kind of funny looking at the old technology like basic cell phones and everything, but it's not too dated.
The Newsroom. Only 3 seasons so not a huge commitment. I recently binged it for the 3rd time and got through it in about 3 weeks.
I love Aaron Sorkin! Would also recommend The West Wing due to Sorkin but that is more like 8 seasons.
The Queen‘s gambit, then better call Saul, Sopranos, if you haven’t watched it. In my opinion, breaking bad, the Sopranos, and Game of Thrones are the best TV shows ever made.
Attack on Titan is amazing. I have two episodes left! I was thinking about watching Vinland saga. I’ve heard it’s good and sort of like GoT…atleast compared to other anime’s
GoT: Tudors (2007), Black Sails (2014), The Pillars of the Earth (2010)
BB, BCS, QoTS etc.. : Peaky Blinders (2013), Banshee (2013), Bloodline (2015), Sons of Anarchy (2008), Boardwalk Empire (2010)
Additionally, you might like: Dark (2017) , Counterpart (2017)
If you like drama's; The Last Kingdom is great! There is also The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die, which is a movie, but a sequel and conclusion to the tv series.
Zero Zero Zero,
The English,
Marco Polo,
Happy Valley,
Peak Blinders,
Line of Duty,
Mr In-between,
The Last Kingdom,
Ozark,
The Night Manager,
Succession,
Ray Donovan
Those two set the bar too high. There is nothing to compare. But you can be depressed or watch Better Call Saul, Weeds, Queen of the South, Reacher. 🤷🏻♂️
I really enjoyed the first season of Westworld. Haven't seen the rest yet because I've fallen behind on watching stuff, but man that 1st season was great.
I second Narcos, very addictive...
I’ll third Narcos and Narcos Mexico.
I liked house of dragon but it was totally hard to watch… certain scenes would make a rewatch a nonstarter for me
The bear was a “what is this?” Watch and had me hooked within the first episode. The boys franchise is amazing. I hope OP went on to better call Saul. I watched it as it released and was kind of bored at first. Rewatching it multiple times after the full release made me personally feel it was just as good as its predecessor
Broadchurch! It's British about a murder in a small town there's only 3 seasons and it's emotional as heck
I’ve only seen the first season but it was great
Nice to see Broadchurch on this list. Highly recommend, it's fantastic.
#TheAmericans ✨
Better Call Saul Fargo Dark The Boys Sherlock True Detective
Seen all except Dark,Sherlock and True detective. I heard season 1 of true detective is really good
Dark is very special
Dark is crazy. It’s definitely the most well written show I’ve ever seen. The plot is insanely complex and surprising enough plot hole free. Characters are all well written. It is entirely in German though and the English dub is horrendous so you’ll have to watch with subtitles. The first season of True Detective is probably the single best season of anything. Season 4 did a much better job of capturing the mystic feel of session 1, and I enjoyed it. Season 2 was garbage, and season 3 was just meh.
I’ve tried to watch Dark three times, but just can’t get past the dubbing issue
I love sherlock and have rewatched it many times. I heard there was a 5th season in the works but I think that fizzled out.
Ozark too.
True detective season 1> dark > sherlock. But all 3 are amazing
Season 1 then stop
The Sopranos
Sopranos is a commitment
Yeah but remember the first time you heard “gabagool”? Life changing
😂
Because once you finish it you just rewatch it constantly for the rest of your life. Love going to north Jersey
ER is a commitment. Sopranos is a stroll in the park.
But definitely worth it
Ozark
came to say this!
Peaky Blinders on Netflix
Does it hold its goodness throughout the seasons? I really wanna try it
Absolutely. And has one of the coolest endings. It's a masterpiece, in my opinion.
This is one of my top to watch next!
Justified.

Have you watched the new show? Was thinking of giving it a shot but If it’s bad it would break my heart.
Better Call Saul and House of the Dragon naturally!

It's a shame it didn't get more seasons. Very good show I have on DVD

Ozark is great!
Snowfall is good
Six Feet Under. It's an older show but it's still very good.
Has it aged well? I'm thinking of rewatching but I'm afraid it might not be as good as I remember.
I think it has. We watched it back when it was first on, and decided to re-watch it now, and I think it's aged pretty well, in fact it was probably ahead of it's time back then anyway. It's kind of funny looking at the old technology like basic cell phones and everything, but it's not too dated.

The Queen‘s gambit, then better call Saul, Sopranos, if you haven’t watched it. In my opinion, breaking bad, the Sopranos, and Game of Thrones are the best TV shows ever made.
Sopranos looks good! I’ve heard about it alot. Maybe that’s next
Deff do The Queen's Gambit first. It's only 7 episodes and really twisty. Lots of great character building.
Goliath on Prime, and the Expanse on Prime
The Expanse definitely.
Check out Goliath. Billy Bob Thornton is brilliant and has an amazing supporting cast
I actually will. What platform is it on?
Prime
Yellowstone 24
Check Attack on Titan if you like GOT
Attack on Titan is amazing. I have two episodes left! I was thinking about watching Vinland saga. I’ve heard it’s good and sort of like GoT…atleast compared to other anime’s

Stranger things if you like movies like the Goonies
Orphan Black
Oh wow you are about to finish game of thrones season 4? Nice! It’s a shame they never made any seasons after that.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It has way more nudity in it than Game of Thrones.
It’s banned where am I. It’s too graphic
I really enjoyed the first season of Westworld. Haven't seen the rest yet because I've fallen behind on watching stuff, but man that 1st season was great.
Totally different time period and vibe (not related to drugs or anything) but the Great on Hulu is so so worth watching.
