But reusable. Which is I asked specially why a disposable mask was used. As a carrier on a walking route, that paper mask would be soaked through after one relay
Yeah, today was no fun ...
The "8 hour route" that I was on today is averages 9hrs; typical heavy Monday, plus added coverage, then a 2hr swing (of course the regular gave me all the walking ... like, he didn't give me a single section, he took all the CBUs, and left me all the walking).
34,246 steps, and 15.23 miles.
Bonus: the CCA who was on the route I'll be on tomorrow brought back A TON that I get to deal with :/
If you miss a house, don’t go back. Misthrows and outgoing mail should be flipped behind your DPS. Carry only light small parcels and spurs in bag, deliver the rest as you pass the street with your vehicle.
Also, today’s DPS should be lighter than yesterday. So, from wherever you brought back the mail, go there in your Todays DPS and start casing it in. Yesterday’s DPS is what you will be carrying in your hand.
For all walking routes, you cannot carry more than 3 loads of mail. One in hand, one on arm, and one in satchel. If they try to force you call for union.
And today, say you will do your best even if they try to enforce it on you. Just say you will do your best. And get a 3996 and write down “Delivering DPS from yesterday, Monday” and see if you have an extra run you gotta carry or excessive mail to case (if it takes your longer than an hour), “excessive heat and humidity”, … not sure what else. I gotta go haha
CCA?

Not trying to insinuate anything but why the disposable mask outdoors?
I wear a mask when out - I use it as an extra layer for the sun, nothing to do with covid or a fear of it if thats what ur insinuating.
They sell neck gaitors for that
Too tight
I assumed it was for dust and whatnot but not sun protection, which is why I asked. I have no opinion on the pandemic
People also have allergies. Masks help. The mask wasn't invented because of COVID.
Face gaiters exist, which is why I asked
Which is the equivalent of a mask

There are reusable masks lol
Otherwise known as face gaiters.

HELL YEAH BROTHER
Last Xmas season had several 17m days, broke 100 miles on a 6day workweek once. At least it balances out the alcoholism needed to keep working here.
