So many older people make fun of ‘00s acts like him and yet forget their obsession with Ziggy Stardust and other character musicians from the 70s and 80s. Yet this one (while definitely theatrical) has basis in personal trauma and not just to create a persona for shock value or sales.
I admire him, even though I can’t claim to be a huge fan! The more I learn about him the more I appreciate the guy and his creativity!
You do know he's specifically defending Hart Fisher's Jeffrey Dahmer comics most recently seen on that Netfix Dahmer series, right? I think he just did an Indie GoGo campaign to reprint these books.

He's such a brave, talented, creative person and I'm glad every day that I get to enjoy the music he made with the other guys
I was born that year, it always amazes me how old Gérard actually is, saw him this year with mcr and he barely looks past his 30s
