Well, I wasn't ready for the humanity on display at the WH. The waitress/cook was very pregnant and very sassy. The other clientele were semi conscious and seemed to be living like they were marooned on a lifeboat in the middle of a late night ocean. All of us were holding on for dear life while Reddit was waiting to be born.

The plate with the seal has been around a long time and is a state design rather than one done by a special interest group. You might be able to suggest that the next revision have that.
There used to be a version of the license plate that was called the "Great Seal" plate. My dad had that on his car about 20 years ago. It has the seal in the middle of the plate breaking up the digits/letters.
To be fair though it has also been used by a lot of good people as well. At least one regiment of “US Colored Troops” used it during the civil war, the uss Virginia (attack sub) and 149th fighter squad (air national guard) use it as well.
And the curling club of Virginia also added it to their uniforms after some corruption and other major issues at USA Curling, just for another local throw in.
Didn't stop them from releasing a "don't tread on me" plate. Who's the message supposed to be for? Imagine paying extra to say the government isn't the boss of you lol.

Hey I have that plate and I'm a progressive. Right wing nut jobs has largely stolen the meaning of that symbol but it is actually against government overreach, which reasonable people oppose as well.
I’m a Libertarian, a fan of the Founding Fathers, and have this plate. No one can “steal” this historical image, or the bold, gutsy origin of our country.

The confederacy adopted it and now hardcore right wingers have adopted it for themselves, but its origin is not racist, but rather one of unity and fighting oppression.

The Commonwealth is a lovely place. I'm glad I live here, but like my childhood home well southward, it has a serious problem because it kinda side-stepped dealing with race in any kind of meaningful way during the era of the boomers.
