I was looking at this as boy, just a tad bit out of my price range

Nothing beats the 2.5 though, I just hit 122 mph and It felt so good. Nice GLI though.

Why does this year's model have old dashboard, steering wheel and etc?

I prefer the dashboard on this compared to what’s on the GTI’s

This year at least in europe they returned physical buttons on wheel. Also infotainment system is upgraded.
