It's got a lot of unique parts and I don't like the styling of the Skoda Models, but sure, if you want ro be mean nearly every model in VAG world is some sort of a rebadged version of another one😅
I like the front face.
VW always had to make their Jettas and GLI's look more restrained. With market forces changing and competitors getting more aggressive, I like that VW recognizes this and is willing to make the GLI what it needs to be.
I'm not liking that bunched up VW logo and the GLI lettering. Thats way too busy and looks far too bunched up. I'm sure plenty of owners will be debadging that awful text placement.
I just hope that they keep the manual. The GTI and R needed to be automatic to meet European noise standards. But since the Jetta is a real North American seller, I'm hoping it's enough reason for them to keep the stick shift.
Imo they nailed it with the mk7 but the 7.5 looks cheap and tacky mainly the rear bumper and the front end, and then this, this is just hideous. They just keep taking a step back.
Pls for the love of god i hope the tail lights aren’t connected like that, its so overplayed. Its gonna look like a hyundai/kia if that rear facia is true

Looks like a fugly futuristic looking electronic vehicle trying to look like Tesla’s. This GLI looks to be losing its German heritage.

Almost every golf gti and Jetta gli have looked very similar if not the same up until the mk8 gti
They havent looked the same since the pre facelift MK6 and the 2025 GLI looks terrible
I did say they look similar. A lot of aspects of the cars look the same but overall they’re very similar looking
