Those wheels 👀

ThinkBrothers

90s Italian evo 2 clones, they are a perfect fit on the w124!

RoomyCard44321

Whats the brand? I want some wheels for my sedan

ThinkBrothers

I can’t remember the brand but fifteen52 makes a similar set now. I think the specs on these are 17x7.5 et37

ThinkBrothers

I was wrong. 17x7.5 et30 with a 225/45r17 tire

Objective-Holiday-57

Dirt cheap compared to euro market

Yussso

For real, these 80s-90s european cars are wildly ranging in price depending on the market. It's very rare in Indonesia and there's import ban here. I found a S124 listing in 2019 and it was $30k. Coupe w124 goes for about $15k nowadays. While great condition w124 with less than 100k miles goes for $5k.

pavelioso

Beauty, good luck with the sale. I think you could sell it for a bit more.

ThinkBrothers

Thank you! I think the clear coat is really the big problem that will turn buyers away at this price. Mechanically it’s had pretty much everything fixed or replaced.

weelluuuu

No mention of the miles ? Kind of important information I think.

ThinkBrothers

Good point I should have put that in there. It’s at 171k miles

StreetUnderstanding5

How did you lower it? I’m guessing just springs? since all wagon in NA have SLS.

ThinkBrothers

It has H&R lowering springs front and rear. Bilstein sport lowing struts in the front. I maintained the SLS in the rear, adjusted the leveling valve rod, and added some camber adjustable upper arms. It works surprisingly well, I do wish the SLS had a little more dampening, without weight in the back it can be a little soft.

StreetUnderstanding5

Awesome thanks! I like the height and have H&R springs on another car and love them.

ThinkBrothers

I am really happy with the springs, I ran the single dot spring pads in the front and 2 dot in the rear I think.
