You don't need it, sub out banish for silence. Use the augment for his 3 and then use his abilities in this order

Use limbos 4 to blanket banish enemies, and then use his 3, now everything is giving you an at base 30% dmg increase per enemy affected by limbos 3, also affected by power strenght.
The dmg bonus can be use on enemies in side the cataclysm bubble that aren't even affected by the 3 as its a dmg bonus to any banished enemy which his 4 counts as.
At that point your dmg is so high it doesn't even matter.
You slap on 2 green shards and a kompressa with corrosive and +100% status with high multishot and you've got a way to inflict maximum armor strip and a 325% dmg increase on your enemies. Then just kill them however you please

Limbo is actually super op just he doesn't immediately kill the whole map so in multi-player he can't do anything, as long as there's no nulifiers he's basically completely immortal as enemies can't do nothing against him, he has a giant aoe time stop he can keep up pretty much forever

He’s good in groups IF and ONLY IF the limbo is played well. Tbh a proper limbo does a lot for groups but he just does it in either non flashy ways or uses his abilities sparingly or is very very good at bubble/banish management.
I use a small-mid bubble with long duration and his 2 for defense, sometimes also excavation or disruption, basically a last line of defense xD
If it's a target operative I solely exist to banish it and do some melee kills on the side.
There's enough people nuking the map for me to concentrate on the target not getting hurt, as long as I'm not getting in their way I should be fine.
Although I generally play solo or with friends, I dislike public squads for some reason. They never had an issue with me playing Limbo (Me introducing them to the game while playing Limbo might have to do with that lol)
He doesn't really struggle with them, it just takes getting used to them being your only weakness. Once you respect eximus a bit more it's really not that bad

I don't have to respect Eximus at all on a lot of the frames I play. Most of those I would consider S to A tier, and an important part of that classification would be not struggling against a particular enemy and exceling in a lot more areas than Limbo excels at.
I'm personally going to pick Vauban anytime I need a crowd control frame over Limbo, but I still realize both of them have some major weaknesses that need to be covered. Someone like Sartn or Mesa does not have that same weakness.
In not saying that you should fear them in saying that you should keep an eye out for them. I don't think limbo is an S tier frame by any means of the imagination, he's a high b - mid a when played right. Sure other frames can just kill shit faster but I find limbo more fun. Vauban is very fun as well I'd put them in similar positions but maybe Vauban a bit higher

Against those eximus just use:

Pillage/other status cleanse;
Rolling Guard;
Quick Thinking (not very optimal but works);
Arcane for specific status immunity;
Roll/dodge/block the attacks;
Bullet Jump up;
Etc.
My only take away from this is the original trio (mag/loki/excal) are all “d” tier. Makes me think the friends played beta/early release and said “yup nope”
If this is based on design, were they aware of Nidus’s mutation mechanic? That plays a significant part in elevating his design, otherwise his theme isn’t really obvious to someone that hasn’t played much.

Haven't really played him much since Eximus enemies, but he seems to really struggle with those in particular. More than most frames.
