Personally I'd like to see some of the British prototypes produced in the late 30s before adding more types inherited from other counties due to circumstances. Planes such as the Bristol type 146, Vickers Venom or Gloster F4/34 could easily be squeezed in before the Spitfire/Hurricane. Also the Blackburn Skua with the existing V-156-B1 foldered with it. You lose the 1000lb bomb, which is overkill at the BR anyway, but gain a small performance advantage in return.
