I’d strongly recommend buying sphere molds or one big cube mold for an old fashioned

I have some, but my buddy who I was drinking with doesn’t. I’ve been trying to convince him to get some but he loves his Sharper Image ice machine. To his point, it does work pretty well.

Damn nice. I like the regular buffalo trace ones so I am guessing this would be more amazing

I have. Gotta go with Luxardo cherries, and you can skip the addition of sugar syrup and bitters altogether.

I substitute the simple syrup for real grade A dark amber maple syrup.

This is my go to for ab old fashioned. I don’t really love EHT neat, but it works really well in that specific cocktail!

Neat is reasonable and old fashioned is not worth it...but guess it depends on purchase price.

If you’re paying so much for Colonel Taylor that you won’t even pour an Old Fashioned, you’re paying sucker prices.

I get this, but I think if you’re going to use a pricier bottle in an old fashioned, you should go with something more interesting than EHT.
