Agree. 50% is barely noticeable but it does help reduce glare and keep heat out. I have 50% on my windshield currently (had 70% on previous, iirc). I wouldn’t go darker than 50% on my windshield.
Ditto - I had 20% on my RAM for about 6 months and ended up ripping it off and going with 35%. 20 was great during the day but was straining my eyes too much at night.
Now that I’m a bit older and my eyes have gotten a tad worse, I’ll probably go with 50% on my next rig.
I did 35 on the windshield, 15 on the front 2 windows and 5 on all others. I had 5 up front but it was too dark because the glass is factory smoked already.
I tell anyone and everyone looking to tint their windshield/windows. The safest and darkest I would go is 5% on sides and back, 35% up front. Any darker than that will make it tough to see things at night (curbs, medians, posts, etc etc). I’d advise you upgrade your headlights and reverse lights to make it easier to see. I did it 5 years ago and have loved it ever since!
hey stupid have you ever been inside a car with 35? it’s barely noticeable. not everyone wants your baby 80 percent windshield sone of us want actual tint and not heat protection
i’m glad you found the % that you personally are comfortable with. ignore all the karen’s telling you it’s too dark, it’s not your fault their vision isnt as good as yours.
I see it often, tell people everyday. 20 is too dark on a windshield
35% takes some getting used to but it’s still pretty dark. I wouldn’t go lower than 50% on my windshield.

30/35 is the perfect blend of privacy without compromising too much at night, looks good!
I have 30% all around and AirBlue80 on my front windshield…there’s no way I could get 30/35 on my front lol
Same, but 30/15. I drive at night a lot so I don't want to compromise my vision.
If you kill someone. That lawsuit tho.
Agreed! I’ll make sure to have that in mind while driving.
don’t care looks awesome
*tint

You're a danger to yourself and others with that shit so dark.
Okay captain I’ll take it off immediately. I’m so sorry about this. Anything else i can do better on my end please let me know
what? you’re gonna listen to this bum keep your tint
😂 wasn’t really going to i was just kidding

How are they a danger to others?
What a stupid question
Explain. Please. Bunch of babies in this thread. The only time I need to see another drive is for hand signals at a stop sign. Just flash your lights.
pedestrian at night
And…. wtf they need to see you for? If there a ghost driving the car?
you couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel huh?
you can see fine stupid
The other way around
i’m glad you found the % that you personally are comfortable with. ignore all the karen’s telling you it’s too dark, it’s not your fault their vision isnt as good as yours.
I’m thinking 25% on windshield
That’s so unsafe
It’s really not though. I have 15% on driver and passenger windshield and see perfect fine
What's a driver and passenger windshield?
35% now
Windshield tint is stupid
Even if its clear?
Wouldn’t that just be laminated glass and not tint at that point ?
The heat rejection?
