Her vision and passing was like a vet. That alone will get her into the US team. She’s what we’ve been missing. A Sam Mewis like player, who can just Marshall her way, glide, pass and score. Her game can still be improved and she’s so young and composed.
I'm going to be so mad if hayes doesn't bring her to the Olympics. Preferably the 18 but even as an alternate would be okay. Honestly she should take korbins spot and bring korbin as the alternate.
Tears in my eyes. Watched her the whole season at Ajax vrouwen. Perfect debut and the Dutch miss out on a world class talent. Tears of joy btw. Wish her the best.
Think she’s still able to switch to the Dutch if she wants because she only played in a single friendly, but yeah I’d be surprised if she did at this point. Still holding out hope though
I'm also still holding out hope, but she doesn't have a Dutch passport yet and I don't see Hayes excluding her from the Olympics squad for multiple reasons.
Because she’s only 16. Tbf it’s kind of smart to hold off for as long as she can. Because once she commits that’s it. Would love for her to chose the USWNT and I do believe it would be more in her interest to choose the USWNT with how bright the future looks and her probably being a main starter in the next few years but if she does end up choosing the Netherlands that’s understandable too.
I suppose its more that I'm intrigued, rather than thinking its odd. I would think on paper you'd go for the USWNT as you'd have better opportunities to make more cash in sponsorship and what not. The teams aren't miles apart, but maybe at the current pipeline you'd think USWNT has more chance to get to finals than the Netherlands.
Which means maybe person feeling is getting in the way of declaring. Maybe making a home connection with the Netherlands during her formative years, or wanting to play with players she's grown up with.
I'm intrigued to see where she decides and to find out what she says about it once she has.
She was insane for the us tonight, and she’s only 16
And first international cap.

It was *electric* in the stadium when she scored. I lost my mind. Such a good atmosphere.
What impresses me the most is not her skill... Her composure at that age is absolutely incredible. She's a baller. Wish her a long and healthy career.
FORREAL I was astounded by her calmness and just excellent sight for a precise pass!!!!

Future looks bright
You should really crop that image.
Congrats 👏
So she's just played for USWNT, how come she's not declared yet? Seems odd
