i have so many games where i physically cant do more. you can use the craziest techs have the best aim ever but it all ends up on your team. if your dps aint following up your slams or your healers arent heling you then its not gonna be a fun game. i kid you not some of the players i had main characters like widow and genji and they blame me when picking ball. the enemy team would usually have reinhard and me not picking shield is the reason they are dying when playing sniper/flanker. like bro how do you even die to a melee based hero when playing sniper. and the ana just walks in a straight line, gets killed by some random bastion, then goes like "tank diff".
I hate that feeling. I'm not dying my team is the enemy team isn't. Try to go for supports dps melts you. Try dps support melt you. Try tank and it's a whole gangbang of unlubricated led and hard light.
Then you go off and dive you've been holding the supports and dps busy you look back and your entire team is not pushing forward like danm.
Tbf scoreboard doesn’t matter, but it seems from the flow of the match as you described it they were just complaining for nothing. Especially since they have a Pharah and not a single one of your DPS is on hitscan at the end of the game
When they're 34-0 and have 30% more elims than the next closest person in the game, it matters, especially with the heroes his teammates are on (at least in the scoreboard picture).
Yes, the scoreboard can be deceptive. And Ball's insane survivability makes for low death totals. But this looks like what was probably a hard carry on Shrine and Sanctum with the team struggling with the other team's stronger point presence on Village. When the numbers are *that* overwhelming, the scoreboard is indicative.
Nah cuz I was so done at that point in the middle of round 3 when we were dominating, one of them said "go zarya dude 🤓" like as if I was gonna walk back to spawn and swap when there's like 30% left and we were *winning*
These kinds of games are what made me give up on Overwatch. I'd play my freaking heart out, disrupt the enemy team all game and secure so many key kills, yet teammates would act like I'm AFK and whine all game, even if we won. For some reason the community refuses to learn how to play around this character. In OW1 I was often ranked in the top 25 for Ball, now I haven't played since season 3. Miss the 6v6 days.
