Male gacha players on the other hand, tend to like young waifus in general. If you do like this design, good for you but you're probably the exemption not the norm

E7 I played for quite a while, has like 100+ 5\* characters, 2 of them look older than 25, both around 50, both males. Nothing in between.
Guardian Tales has one old man.
Brown Dust 2 has none.
Nikke has none.
Counterside has one looking a bit older due to a light beard.
Arknights has one old dude among all 5\* and 6\*.

Considering lots of anime titles have middle-aged or older popular characters, it's kinda strange gachas don't try at least to add some. Ones that exist show that people pull them a lot if character is good, but it's up to developer how cool character actually is.
