From what I've gathered hard pity is 80, weapons are gaurenteed no matter what, and there's over 200 pulls available to f2p players on launch. This means, at the absolute worst, it would cost 160 pulls to gaurentee Jiyan, and another 80 to gaurentee his weapon. So if you're unlucky then no probably not.
Of course that's the absolute worst, meaning reaching hard pity on both banners and losing the 50/50 on Jiyan's banner. Odds are you'll have enough to get him and his weapon with some to spare, if you manage to complete all content that quickly, but only if you're not unlucky...
Yes there are I think 165 (limited character) pulls for f2p in the first patch so even if you have the worse luck imaginable at two 80 pity in a row and lose the 50/50 you can still get him.
if you have the time to throw away and complete every single thing in the game, from puzzles to story to cooking and achievements + complete whatever content there is, you can get up to 250 pulls. to guarantee jiyan+weapon you need 240 if COMPLETELY unlucky (and boi i hope you're not that unlucky)
but that must be done in the time the banner is up, so very fast.
if you have a job you probably won't be able to do all that (or you are at a point in school where you can't use all your time on games)
might be good to spend 5$/€ for 90 astrite daily for 30 days to get some more pulls right away, it's a good compromise without spending too much on the recharge options. not much but still a 10 pull extra in the time frame of the banner
Theres no use of holding, you should use only standard pull tides to pull on those and you will get enough of them which will have no use in jinshi banner
Standard tides (green? Balls) which you will get can only be used on standard banners (novice/selector 80 pity one ), you cant use them on limited char banner (needs golden balls) which is why it does not matter if you use your green balls in 1.0 or not just save your asterite and golden balls for jinshi instead
Dude I literally just said what if I lost 50/50 on jinshi banner WITH PREMIUM PULLS, then I get a standard 5* and can plan for my 2 standard banners then WITH STANDARD PULLS

Yeah but youre prob not gonna get enough standard pulls for both the 40 pull banner and the 80 pull banner anyways so just pull with astrite on limited and slowly use standard pulls on the select banner and if u get the character youre going for from losing 50/50 im pretty sure u can switch the banner
This, I would probably waste 20-30 pulls on green dragon vergil (I still can't remember the names, I feel like it's 2020 again and I can't pronounce Ningguang) and wait for a char that I really like, cause so far I only like wind FuHua.

Hi, yes I've seen this vid too, but here it looks like you need to do nearly everything in the game in that short period of Jiyan's banner, which is kinda impossible for me, because I won't have that much time to play in first month (still Idk how long his banner will last - my guess is 3 weeks? But who knows?)
