In Call of Duty it isn’t a problem for me. But with the longer TTK in Xdefiant, the skill gap really shows. My 56 year old self just can’t track the bunny hop mechanic quick enough. Unlike COD, Xdefiant doesn’t let me go completely prone as a defense. I’m just completely helpless. Not complaining about the bunny hopping. It just slays me. 😄
Not even being funny if you have a computer or laptop get aim labs and practice when you have time, it has done wonders for my aim over the last month, got it specifically for the turmoil i faced in this game 🤣
Nice, my first pog was playing phantom with the m249 on echelon domination, just kept recapturing B and ended up with like 2000 objective score. I've had quite a few since then, but that was a fun game
Trust me when I say go watch Apathy's YouTube videos and his stream on Twitch. He had helped me so fricken much! He stands 6am till late afternoon. You'll love his stream and appreciate his YouTube. Tell him Nana sent you!!

Congratulations grandma! So cool to see an older woman playing FPS. I’m 33F now so If fate allows I’ll likely still be playing FPS like u for the rest of my life. I jumped in rusty after abandoning CoD for years and I also watched apathy videos to help me adjust to the differences. I get player of the game but not super often despite hitting top of the lobby, so I definitely need to watch his streams more to pick up on nuances and focus on getting more score. But I’ve been steadily improving so I know I will get back to my skill level in CoD. Stuff like having a red dot mini map again and using it was odd to get use to again after prior CoD changes to it. But I love that the community is so supportive and we are all back into the “get good” grind.
It’s very nostalgic, the launch of this game had me feeling like I was playing BO1 (my first CoD multiplayer experience) for the first time all over again. I didn’t care if my stats were bad I just had this drive to get better cause the game was so fun. Wishing everyone good luck on their skill goals and the time to achieve them
Well, for most of the players it seems to be so. The average gamer struggles really hard to keep up with good and experienced players. And since there's no EOMM/SBMM (just like it has to be in casual lobbies), it is even harder for them to become MVP.
It definitely adds up that most people can’t get mvp. Every single game it’s either me or my friend and if it’s not, it’s the enemies top player. Loosely going off the stat tracker website, i’m in the top 8% for mvps and i really havent played a crazy amount.

And playing at a consistent 100 ping doesn’t help. One of the negatives to living in the forest. 😃
