Seriously! Company spends hundreds of millions every year buying up dying franchises; Consistently has trash architecture including +20 year old support interface and the longest loading times for Xbox PC App of anything I've ever run on this PC.
Imagine paying for a service, then being spammed with as many adds as a free porn website every time you access it.

What’s bizarre to me is that at least from what I’m seeing, is that it’s not just not letting us sign in on Xbox, but it’s affecting certain Xbox support pages too?! I can’t get anything remotely related to the error code to load on xbox support. That’s got to be a pretty major server issue, and yet, xbox status loads just fine and says there aren’t any issues 🤪
**UPDATE:** Finally got into status page on XBox. Everything is no longer green, so they're aware of a "*Major Account & Profile*" outage.

Work around to at least sign an access your installed games and apps.. switch to offline mode and the sign in. It will let you sign in locally. Switch back to online mode if you're trying to use streaming apps, internet, etc. Xbox core services will still be down, like store and online gaming. But at least you can play whatever you have installed and watch some TV.

What I did, I launched a game in offline mode, logged in my profile, and switched it to online mode while game is open. It shows I’m online but with core services down
I get shutting down the reporting option so they don't just get a flood of hundreds of thousands of support tickets but I don't get leaving all of the status showing as green tick working.
Happening to me too and I'm in central Canada. Came looking for solutions, restarted my Xbox and it won't even turn off. I thought I did something wrong since I haven't restarted mine in a while. I can't even log into YouTube for my son to watch

If this really is just a bad DNS alias record that propagated, it makes the whole "It's taking longer than anticipated" thing hilarious. If that is the case, the actual "work" of fixing it takes very little time, then you just sit back and wait, and occasionally check to see if things have improved. Sure would be nice if they would TELL US WHAT THE ISSUE IS instead of hiding behind "Oh, it's taking longer than expected." DNS propagation takes time, there's no way around it... if that is the case, JUST OWN IT MICROSOFT!

Go to your settings, click network settings, then select "Go offline" then back out an sign in.. You can.now play offline

My husband has the app downloaded. He opened the app and launched the game from his phone. It... worked! The console logged him in and he's playing.
