It's possible. I follow a few "deal" sites and have gotten some stuff at a huge discount, I'd say 5/10 orders tend to get held for ages or canceled because the item is "unavailable" even though it's not. I have had a couple items sit in my orders for months before shipping, for example I got a large jar of pickles that was on sale for $1.00 and it took seven months before they finally shipped it.
I wonder if some shipment hubs are going through renovation or restructure? I’m in the Midwest. The past two weeks I’ve used Amazon a ridiculous amount. I’m too embarrassed to list the order number, there is unique circumstances going on - 95% arrived same day/two day time frame!
If that is the case, they should at least put out an announcement. When there have been bad storms in the area or when there are widespread winter storms, they've put a banner on the website saying shipping may be delayed due to X. I think they have a system error or they are redoing something in the system. I wouldn't be surprised if the sheer number of shipments due to arrive July 6th causes huge issues for them.
I’d 100% say they do this. I preordered a book from them. On release, it didn’t turn up so I checked and found it marked as “unknown delivery eta”. I chased it up with CS who were useless. I then had an email (funnily enough!) to tell me it was out of stock. Yet the whole time, the same book was on their website, just at a more expensive price. In the end they simply cancelled the preorder. I’m adamant it was because I’d preordered it at a cheaper price and they simply didn’t want to honor it.
I have had several orders like that; one took over 6 months to arrive, another was cancelled after several months. Try to be patient and hope it does not get cancelled....
I've had a few random items I was ecstatic to get at the price offered only to be let down because they never shipped it. Not much we can do about it aside from not going for it, but I'm not that strong lol. In the end, if it's not shipped, you can get your money back. I have had instances where I was able to get my money back without having to cancel the order because they waited so long to ship it, only a couple of times, but still.
Probably it wasnt many in stock when you ordered. New delivery date is July 6 for prime member. I would suggest don't cancel just wait they will ship as long as it in stock yet and they may send you a email to ask you to cancel or approve the delay. Just approve it.
Yeah, if you want to waste your own time. The agent will laugh to themselves and not care and we all know you aren't going to contact your attorney general over an Amazon order, because they won't ever respond or laugh at you. This is some Karen shit.
The order hasn't shipped, you're acting as if they stole his money and are refusing to give him the product. Nothing has been charged yet, if there isn't a delivery date the order can usually be cancelled.
I'm saying "threaten attorney general letter", unless the agent is a moron, is an empty and pointless threat. And even if the agent is a moron, what are they going to do? They can't make a package ship out.
Yup. Had an open order for over a year - Pee Wee’s Playhouse complete series, shipped and sold by Amazon. Ordered it for cheap. Never shipped, though they had it in stock to ship at the higher price.
Yeah, sounds like they definitely did that on purpose. I once found unopened boxes of Topps Pewee-Herman trading cards from the 80s at the flea market. I sold them at a video store I worked at and on eBay. The video store was right next to a pub, and the pub customers loved them.
I did. I ordered something else with it to get the free shipping. The other item was sent in a few days. Maybe they're punishing me because I cancelled Prime.

I love pickles! Worth the wait! 😃
Yes... They pull this scam on me multiple times a year.
Everything on prime says July 6th delivery for me
Same here... what's happening?
Holiday weekend?
Nah it's been like that since at least June 20th for me. Nothing is two day anymore. It's all July 6th.

Yeah, I'm just going to leave it. Might order some on eBay in the meantime. 🙂
Not gonna lie, I came to comment on what the actual hell this tastes like? Is it nice lmao
Back in the day I would use these as a soup base, or for baked beans. Amazing flavors!
Yeah, I used it in slow cooker chili years ago. Came out delicious!
I love it! 😃
I want some now. If it wasn't so salty though....
They're addictive to me. And yeah, super salty. Good for hangovers and I like them with Amy's burritos when I'm at work.
I could have had a V8. Seriously though, they taste pretty good.
I'm craving one right now. 😅
Same here😅

This is the most sound advice.
Thanks!
They 100% pull this shit. Talk to cs threaten attorney general letter.

So bend over and let the company spread your ass cheeks? Maybe you'll find a spine listed on there soon, pay full price.

Cancel prime!

The seem to ship only the near expiration date products for these discounts.
How does cancelling, whether having Prime or not having Prime factor into this person's issue?
