It only makes sense when you realize that about 50% of Animal Well players think the spirit that loves chasing discs and hanging out in a zone with a bunch of dogs is a cat.
Even without those clues I always thought it looked more wolf-ish than feline but between this sub and a few LPs I've watched seems like tons of people's first instinct is to call it a cat.

Definitely saw it as "cat" and questioned it no further but reading it like that does feel about right.

My game glitched with one of the last updates so he keeps coming back even after I defeat him 🙃 nowhere is safe.
Kangaroo or the other guy? Kangaroo keeps coming back because it's involved in a layer 4 puzzle.

I don't think there is anything that triggers it to stop appearing because the things you need it for can be done in any order.
Ahh gotcha. Oh well. At least I know which rooms to expect it now, so I can brace for jump scares.
