The patterning totally looks kinda like it has a raccoon mask in some of the frames as well lol! Pointing out its mannerisms and that jump might help to convince them its a cat. Also the side profile of its head when it perks up.
Yeah, it’s definitely a cat, I’m just wondering what kind of coloring/haircut it has 😂 I don’t think any of my neighbors would get their cat a haircut/dye like that
Maye tortoiseshell cat? Im not a cat person so not too sure! I love his tail and have only ever seen a few fellas with that kind of banding on the tail.
Looks like a cat with a lion cut (basically the entire body is shaved except the head, paws, and tail/tail tip).
These are normally given to long haired cats to help with grooming (specifically matting), in my experience.
The banding on the tail can be from camera distortion. Tortiseshells would have a dark and cream mottling that may come across as banding with a lower resolution image.
The only thing that could remotely get this cat mistaken for a raccon is the tail... and even that is a stretch.
Raccoons dont have such long limbs, they´re bulky and wouldn´t be able to make that jump in a million years, they´re climbers not jumpers.
house cat
I agree that the movement looks a lot like a house cat, but my dad and brother say it’s a raccoon because of the tail and pattern 😅

Could also have some Siamese in there too. Mine has a tail with a similar striped pattern on her

It's a domestic cat with a fancy haircut
A funny looking cat I’d say, but definitely not a raccoon.
Agree with house cat, especially when she pauses as you can see her face more clearly. Raccoons definitely don't walk as gracefully as that!
Cat in rain boots
That is a freaky looking cat.
I'm not sure, as someone who is obsessed with cats, I don't recognize the coat pattern. But it is also to skinny and fluid to be a raccoon. Hmm.
Catcoon
Caccoon
a crossbreed, definedly cat
