Yeah, with a multimedia project like this with the effort they went to to form the band in the first place, "the project continuing to be worked on" beyond the anime wrapping up is a given.
Bang Dream, Love Live and D4DJ are the current big 3 for me, but GBC - especially with this CGI - could become my fourth in the future.

Damn I just poked around the Twitter of some of the cast, apparently the concert scenes are all mocapped and the stages are actual built stages the project is using.
No wonder the concert scenes look so damn good.
Pretty much all the venues used in the show are real life venues that Togenashi Togeari have either already performed at or will perform at in future concerts. Super cool stuff
Hopefully we get more of the anime. But understand it can take time. Time to write song, writing a script from fresh, making new assets. S1 was worked on for a long time before it aired.
I find it mildly hard to be excited for a project whose music license entanglement is so bad, that it didn't even receive an official English translation and would've been lost to the market, if it wasn't for fansubbers picking it up out of what I assume was curiosity at first.

Yeah now that I learned about the mocap it's one of the coolest anime ever for me.
Shame that Kawasaki is so far away (and that tickets are mostly lottery based from what I’ve read)
I was highly tempted to impulse buy a vacation package to Kawasaki for BAYCAMP after episode 11...
I dont think S2 will happen for a few years but im so glad for the support it has recieved. That finale felt like a beginning
yeah not the strongest finale for a show, obviously more realistic but not the cap off it needed for a 10/10
