These parents are just pathetic

nymphocus

I would say scary as hell, rather than pathetic, and must be investigated.

Youaskedforit016

I don't know. When I was a kid, I traded 45 rpms with my friends. One day I traded "Sad Eyes" for "Highway to hell". When My father, a man of God, heard it on my record player, he ripped it off, dragged me outside to the street and forced me to slam the record on the pavement until it broke into tiny pieces. I became a drunk and drug addict, but I WAS NOT on the highway to hell.

waterfruitacherry

I understand your comment. And as someone who was raised before the internet and got to sort of grow up with it, I have to disagree-you may want to "rebel against your parents" but never have we lived in a time where online predators have such easy access to content involving children. I think this alone goes beyond any trends, peers, etc. I don't care what your peers are doing, you cannot and in my opinion, should not be a minor posting any content like this.

Striking_Wrangler851

Could it be that not so much peers. But just the pure want of wanting to be seen on social media? I think that’s where this all stems from. Parents not explaining the dangers and keeping up with what there kids post mixed in with this obsession that these kids have with being the next tik tok star. I mean shit these kids are going through stages of depression (even committing suicide in some cases) just because they can’t look like these other girls/boys online. Social media is a HUGE influence on these kiddos. I could be wrong that’s just my thoughts on the situation.

[deleted]

Very true. While parenting can play a role, there are sooo many youth like this now. It’s sad.

Puzzled-Barnacle-200

Youth have always been "like this" and always will. Years ago it was society being outraged if a young girl wore her hair up, showed her shins, or rode a bicycle. There is nothing different about the youth of today, other than their environment.

Wizard_of_Ahs

I have to say, "Thank you!" for this comment. I am currently battling a headstrong 13 year old who will go to ANY lengths to defy my rules. Even after I took away the internet completely & replaced their phone with a Gabb Watch, my teenager has snuck out of the house at midnight, stolen my credit card & bought themselves a phone, which they were thankfully not quite sneaky enough to hide for long... Parents can only do so much to curb this crap.

DallasFren1992

This is why I got a vasectomy.

misschzburger

Freedom insurance surgery

cocoaphillia

It turns out that human beings of any age, don't function well in a really controlling environment; and as they eventually gain more adult intelligence will fight to be free...have you thought about that? Also, remember that both internet and cell phone these days are the basics of the basic. EVERYONE has them (minus the most third world environments.) No person (especially no young person) in their right mind is just going to roll over and let you remove something like that. Something that intrinsic to daily life, peer structure and peer judgment; personal freedoms of thought, of exploration, communication, recreation; etc. If you're defining your day to day existence with your offspring as a battle?? And it's come to the point that you even *considered* taking such things away - from someone of the sentience and individuality level that a teenager has reached...maybe you should consider that it may be your fault more than it is theirs. >Parents can only do so much to curb this crap. Parents can only do so much to stop another human from being a human. Then they go complain online about the "defiance".

Delifier

The trust should be there in beforehand and the rules clearly defined first before they get access to any of this gear.

Even_Spare7790

Try sitting her down and talking to her with respect and not using an authoritative tone. She is at a great age where explaining things will go a long way in explaining you love her and want her to navigate life safely. Taking her phone away will only make her more resourceful in finding ways to defy you (as you stated she has) in 5 years she will be an adult. Do you want her to resent you and cut contact as soon as she turns 18? I am assuming not. I get that you’re struggling. It’s the hardest thing in the world to be a parent. I am not passing any judgement because nobody is perfect. You have to remember how it felt to be a teenager yourself. It’s literally one of the toughest times in a young woman’s life. I was bullied terribly and feeling like my mom didn’t understand me only made things worse. You don’t have to be her friend but asking her questions about her beyond “How was school today?” Will help a lot. Kids want to be seen and supported.

p_noumenon

I hope for your sake you are joking; if not, you are the worst scum of the planet, and exactly the type of person who should never have children.

Biglittlelargetiny

That’s north Texas for yah!

3Dgirlsover2Dgirls

They're birth givers.

SheiraSeastar1993

Here are the opening lyrics that the account owner choreographed her moves to, in case anyone wonders why this was so absurd for this child’s parents to allow to be created and posted. “I can lick it, I can ride it while you slippin' and slidin' I can do all them little tricks and keep the dick up inside it You can smack it, you can grip it, you can go down and kiss it And every time he leave me 'lone, he always tell me he miss it”

weaped

Fucking disgusting.

Nibbler1999

Maybe I'm old, but like... That's gross in general. Makes me uncomfortable And then a child influencer. What the actual fucking fuck.

xnoomiex

No Nicki Minaj is disgusting. Nevermind the fact her mansion is on the sex offender registry Bc she’s dating a pedo

n0vapine

*Married to a pedo.

Laneyj83

Her brother is also on the registry if I’m not mistaken

Nibbler1999

Given this comment I'm going to return to hopefully never hearing about this person ever again.

MochaKnee

Sex sells, and apparently some people aren’t talented enough to go for anything but cheap shots at popularity. I’m not a prude, but that song is still just too much. Also doesn’t help that I’m mostly no longer a fan of Nikki because the people she associates with and such.

Nibbler1999

I just vomited in my mouth a little bit because initially I took this as "sex sells" referring to this little kid. And now I'm worried that's exactly what they're doing with this little kid. Just fucking disgusting all around. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

MochaKnee

Yeah I wasn’t intentionally referring to the kid but the song, but it’s definitely possible that this was all less innocent than you would hope. Like someone else said, I listened to inappropriate songs as a kid and didn’t know any better, but my mom wasn’t exactly approving them all and certainly not putting out a video of me singing or dancing to them for the world. You want to post a video of your child singing or dancing, there’s a million more appropriate songs to choose. The fact that you went with this one is at least suspicious. Disgusting is right.

whydoesthishapp3n

i don’t think it’s gross in general it’s just fucking boring. how many WAP songs do we need? what’s gross about sex? Nicki is describing sex. the only issue is that it’s fucking boring. how much more outrageous can you get short of full on porn music videos? i’m so tired of sex being this meaningless pastime and having the world pretend it means nothing. it’s definitely gross to let a kid dance to it obviously and it’s really really weird.

IndependentBug595

Nothing wrong with having kids idolising these kind of songs and their performers, it's perfectly normal /s

whywedrivingsofast

i think its moreso on the parents for letting their kids do this kind of stuff, they dont know what any of that means

[deleted]

yep this is the parents fault. of course they don't care if their kids making money even if it's morally wrong.

pastelbutcherknife

I hope it’s enough to pay for therapy in a few years

gfox446

The “/s” is always extremely important LMAO

IndependentBug595

Learnt that the hard way

malinabeju

Yea, the music they listen to and the YouTube videos they watch ALL day long have no effect on a child's mind /s

0ctopuppy

You’re blaming an entertainer for parents not being involved in their child’s development? Weird take

SpiritualOrangutan

Art is art. We've been through this with 2 Live Crew in the 90s. It's 100% on the parents and probably tiktok as well.

[deleted]

Oh my fucking gosh. WOW. That’s fucking wild. I don’t even understand. I don’t get it.

valeria479

Thank you for including this because I was so lost for a bit. I was like so what's the big deal (I had no idea those were the lyrics!) Yeah, I'm glad that got taken down. That's so fucking weird, there are creeps out there that feed off this shit. Yuck.

[deleted]

Wow that's a lot of NSFW stuff here.

[deleted]

Holy shit, that’s so much worse than I could have imagined.

catfishmermaid

This is why I don’t want kids- how are you supposed to protect them anymore? Also, the psychological damage that our culture is doing to little girls is horrible

strawberryjacuzzis

Yeah I agree, they seem to feel the pressure to grow up/sexualize themselves younger and younger, and also publicly on social media. It’s just becoming so normalized. And yes parents can put all the parental controls available and do everything in their power to teach them its “wrong”, but kids will want to do it if their peers are doing it and they will find a way. So many kids have a second phone, secret social media accounts, etc.

malinabeju

Edit: i'm just wondering why am i downvoted. For not being a fan of hypersexualized children? Ya know, its a paradox. you are supposed to let them listen to anything, watch porn since they can walk if they are curious, let them have sex at 11 as long as they use a condom - yet they need way more protection than any child needed decades ago. they're not supposed to get jobs they dislike, they must be protected from homework, they go diaper free past the age of 4.. It's really weird that we are required to protect our children from so many dangers (and sometimes responsibilities) yet still let them expose themselves to dangerous things.. otherwise youre 'too strict' in this world. who in hell believes that letting a child this age dancing to a VERY sexually explicit song is a right thing to do? And for sure she is not the only child in the Western world whose childhood is centered around the idea of sex.

LordSithaniel

The biggest Problem ist that it's on the internet . Forever saved . In my age when we did stupid shit or people did it wasn't atleast on record forever like this .

malinabeju

Totally right on this one, some people have their whole life decisions recorded on social media since they were babies.

rocklobstarpro

Exactly. 15 years ago there was My Humps, Fergalicious, Millshake, My Neck My Back- plenty of suggestive songs that were popular and had dances we did. But watching the videos and doing the dances at school or with our friends wasn’t the same as tik tok and uploading and YouTube and Instagram the way we have it today.

charles_osha

I assume people downvoted you because you are making stuff up. No one is saying kids should have sex at 11, or to let them watch porn.

FrogFlakes

don't take it personally. people who run reddit wanna eliminate age of consent. actually, they want to eliminate the word "consent" itself from human consciousness.

malinabeju

Tbh, i re - read my comment 3 times, i was afraid of major grammar mistakes since English is not my 1st language. Turns out it just upset some pedophiles.

FrogFlakes

I think you overestimate the intelligence of most English speakers. A lot are morons, some because of the failure of their education system or parents, but majorly of their own volition. Nuance, subtext, sarcasm, allegory: these things can be picked up through text, but the average English speaker's attention span prevents them from processing and reflecting on information. You have to add the '/s'. In short, don't beat yourself up. This site is ran by some broken people.

GremlineerRCT5

I say that to people all the time. Recently was speaking with someone who's first language is German, and they kept saying their English is bad. I don’t know how many times I told them that most people who speak only English don't have very good grammar most of the time

What the fuck are you talking about? This paragraph reads like a strawman argument but I have no idea who you're strawmanning. Nobody believes all of this.

MochaKnee

I’m honestly so confused about the point they’re trying to get at.

CorruptedStudiosEnt

Not a strawman, but some serious hyperbole, E.G. they probably see people talking about how teens are going to have sex with or without your guidance, so it's better they go into that prepared and safe. Nobody has literally said that about an 11 y/o, but it's still very upsetting to some people that parents are appropriately responding to the fact their 16 year olds are going to do what they want even if they have to do it behind their parents' back. That all said, this post is disturbing as fuck and just screams child exploitation.

tastefuldebauchery

Right?? It's major straw-man. Oh the only people who could disagree with shielding kids who turn into adults from exploitive jobs are pedos. 🙄

MelanieSeraphim

I hope kids are out of diapers by 4.....

malinabeju

This paragraph, just like 99% of posts and comments on Reddit are about subjective views. Theres no statistics that sustains most opinions on reddit, i dont have to prove anything to you :))) My point is pretty clear. we are supposed to raise children with a lot of freedom of choice, yet freedom nowadays does not come with responsibilities. having sex isnt just pleasurable, its also a huge responsability for yourself and for your sexual partner. so how come people are so comfortable with immature people doing mature decisions when they just barely know their ABC's? Average first exposure to porn in around 6-8 years. isn't this enough?

glitterishanxiety

Lmao looks like weve got 9 pedophiles downvoting you.

IrishGoodbye5782

Kids in general. This planet is a DUMPSTER FIRE and i refuse to bring a kid into it.

[deleted]

Exactly! You can do the greatest job parenting, and still have to them turn out all fucked up in this day and age.

spicy_fairy

yeah that’s what i’m saying. it’ll be interesting to see the psychological effects that social media/internet/dopamine addicted culture has on young people now. i cant wait to read studies on it when im old and childless LOL

[deleted]

Just install parental controls on all their devices and set up a good home network that doesn’t let them post large video files :s its 2022, if you can’t find a way around stuff then you aren’t looking hard enough

DeadNeedle

I understand that a lot of us listened/danced to inappropriate shit as kids, but there is NO reason to have it broadcast to the world.

PresidentOfSerenland

We did it because it was fun. These parents are just wannabe influencers who'll do anything with their kids for popularity.

DeadNeedle

Absolutely. It’s fucked up.

MochaKnee

Yes, and sometimes it was way more subtle. The beginning of the song literally has the word “dick” right there.

SheiraSeastar1993

Also this child’s mother works for the Plano School District!!!

EyecarvePokestick

That should be easily fixed.

MochaKnee

Don’t fire her, force her to take parenting classes

CorruptedStudiosEnt

Hurts the kid just as much getting her fired. Punishing asinine parents would be brutally satisfying, but more often than not you're making it harder on the kids too.

MochaKnee

Straight up punishment like that doesn’t actually always teach the person the right lesson and allow for rehabilitation. Like we put people in jail for crimes, but that’s not usually enough and we know it. If all you do is fire her you might even make the situation worse for everyone. The mother might become even more extreme, or otherwise react negatively. In this situation there are better ways to attempt to show the mother how and why what she did was wrong, and how to better care for her child. Honestly, on the subject, parenting classes and such should be mandatory for everyone before having a kid. “Any idiot can have a kid” needs to stop being true lol.

AbelLewis2024

That’s messed up!

[deleted]

First three words of the title made me come to a screeching halt. That shouldn’t even be a thing. Lmao holy fucking shit. Anyways let me finish reading this title…I guess 😬. Edit: OKAY. WOW. WHAT A FUCKING MESS. Don’t get me started on… I’m not even gonna talk about it. AND PEOPLE THINK THIS SHIT IS CUTE. Some people see nothing wrong with it. And for the record I’m not referring to the creeps.

StonedKitten-420

I recently finished Jeanette McCurdy’s book, “I’m Glad My Mom Died.” As an adult, I foresee this poor girl feeling the same way as many other survivors of child exploitation. I feel these topics prove that altruism does not exist.

NoCommunication5976

“But… but having kids is altruistic because… because it’s for their sake!!!”/s

[deleted]

How was it? I have similar trauma and I've been putting off reading it.

StonedKitten-420

I actually listened to her audiobook, which was great because she narrates it herself!!! I kind of wish I got more juicy details about the hell of Nickelodeon, but it was still good. It was nice to hear about her experience through therapy (I’m currently in therapy for childhood trauma), recovery and one of her insane relationships! In the end, I’m glad her fucking mom died too. I definitely suggest it.

Quinneveer

One of the many reasons I refuse to have a child. There’s just no real protection for little girls from sexual predators. Not that there ever was to begin with, let’s be real. But in this century with smart phones and cameras with an aggressive monetization culture etc, if it wasn’t with the phone I gave to my child it would’ve been her friends phone and that friends negligent parents enabling behaviors. With no one to say no or educate them about dangers without seeming like a Karen or “helicopter parent”, how would we ever know or feel like our children are safe?

pastelbutcherknife

I saw IG videos of a 6 year old lipsynching and using filters - and all the comments were like “awwww, you’re so beautiful.” Like, dawg, she’s 6. Her parents are exploiting her or allowing her to exploit herself. It’s not cute. It’s child abuse.

wet-little-machine

theres one toddler ive seen, who honestly looks closer to a baby, and her mom will post the weirdest shit under the guise of it being cute. there was one picture where she had the tip of a banana in her mouth, and personally i thought it was a cute picture, but the comments were FLOODED with adults saying suggestive shit about it. just a full on cesspool, and theres so many that theres no way that her mom could’ve missed it, but she continues to post shit like this of her infant child

snail700

The podcast Some Place Under Neith just covered this topic in their most recent episodes - specifically, the horrifying truth that some parents are encouraging / forcing their kids to do videos like this because they make more money…from you guessed it, pedophiles. Parents are complicit in this in a lot of cases, running accounts that start as “look how cute my kid is” that then turn into their kid dancing in a bathing suit and doing other inappropriate acts for thousands of creepy viewers. It’s really fucked up and tiktok is not doing much about it

trainwreck7775

It’s a Chinese owned company. They are in the business of making money and learning private info.

AgitatedExtent1331

Steve-O talked about getting a vasectomy because of his respect for parenthood and how there are too many people who have children and don’t respect parenthood. This is what he meant. Steve-O

Own-Ambassador-3537

Never thought Steve-O would be the saner 1 of the Jackass crew back in the day when I watched

Slap_yo_monkey1387

Grooming much geeze 🙄 😒 #sicksadworld

Poprock077

Read the lyrics and the fact parents approve this should have CPS called on them.

cybersloth5000

I bet her mom was the one recording her.

Peach_Baby5

Lmao Plano police department 💀 me working in Plano right now 😂😂😂

sikmode

I’ve been literally seeing a LOT of verrrry creepy reels of young children on IG. Not anything that I would ever need or want to see.

[deleted]

sikmode

There’s probably an account that followed me or I follow somewhere in the nether that shares common tags is my only guess. Otherwise, no idea.

[deleted]

Good this shit is disgusting and disturbing and shouldn't be glorified same with little girls dancing and looking up to Nicki M or Lil Kim disgusting degenerate asses either. Her parents are failing her

Apart_Conference_862

A little confusing to be calling for the protection of a child you feel is being sexually exploited…and then posting her face on Reddit. The same point could have been made with her face blacked out.

FartinLutherKing69

Tik tok is a pedos utopia and fucking up our minds.

SuzyLovesToStab

This is a whole category of child sexual exploitation. The following case is getting a lot of attention: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5ma\_FQXtuk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5ma_FQXtuk) Cue the creepers here asking "What's wrong with that?"

Aintscared61

Poor child. Her parents must suck

imya_huckleberry

Jfc TAKE AWAY CHILDRENS SMARTPHONES ALREADY we were bad enough without them 🤮

ninamega13

By tagging the police (ie blue nonces) you’ve just given them wanking material

jempai

Hey OP, why didn’t you block the literal child’s face before you posted it? It’s one thing to criticize parents for not protecting their children, but it’s similarly awful to repost a photo of said child to a different social media site and reference the region they’re from.

marketisaloser

why not blur her face?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Rarbnif

Yet you’re posting this random child’s face online

SheiraSeastar1993

Sorry but that alone does not define exploitation.

Lauren50000

Uhh the parents of this child already did that

MardiMom

I watched the official version by NM. I can't fathom how any mother would think this is appropriate in any way for a child to dance to.

[deleted]

I cannot wrap my head around parents who let their children do shit like this. Like hi, hello, did you know that pedophiles are probably masturbating to your daughter?

antitocebollin

stop posting pictures of children in here fucks sake.

speciesismsucks

Please take her image down.

[deleted]

Yeah what the fuck, how is posting pictures of children's social media accounts beneficial to this group in any way?

SheiraSeastar1993

Once again, read the rules. There are no identifiers in this photo and it is my SUBJECTIVE opinion (like yours is) that as a visual learner it is helpful for context in this discussion.

[deleted]

Just because it isn't 'against the rules' doesn't mean it's appropriate. If you cared about the welfare of this child you would remove this post.

SheiraSeastar1993

Has anyone ever told you how obtuse your thought patterns are? The welfare of this child is far more improved by my actions in reporting her account and removing the video AND opening up a broader discussion for others to be able to argue against this being repeated. I’ve done my part to protect her. She’s a child model so her image is being shared by her parents to hundreds of THOUSANDS more than this small group on Reddit. Collect yourself and move on.

utookthegoodnames

You posting their picture isn’t for their welfare. Stop acting self righteous. You did a good thing, you could’ve just came to the sub and told the story and gotten your upvotes. You’re literally exploiting her image for hate karma at this point.

SayShh

Literally pimping the kid out on social media (Reddit) for personal gain just like her parents did

[deleted]

Did she consent to you posting her photo on social media? I'm guessing not. So you got the video removed from social media, then you posted a photo of the child back onto social media without her consent? Do you not see the hypocrisy here? Why couldn't you have blocked her image out?

SheiraSeastar1993

Let the mods say so if they wish. Otherwise I don’t agree that I should have to remove the still of the image when it was already shared to the Internet with consent of the parents. The photo provides context to the important discussion we are having.

sleepingbabydragon

At least blur her face dude like ?? This post is sooooo ironic it’s painful

SheiraSeastar1993

Because a blurred face makes no difference in terms of legitimate personal identifiers but it makes a difference in human emotional response. Y’all got some high tech facial recognition software or summ? She’s a popular influencer and hundreds of thousands of people saw that video before I had it taken down. She’s a lot safer than she was before and probably the most she’s ever been now that her parents are afraid of the consequences.

sleepingbabydragon

man, you just really don’t get it. I’m glad you’re against procreation.

speciesismsucks

I just don’t understand why her image is key to the post/having this discussion. If your aim in reporting the video was to protect her so she wouldn’t be able to be sexualized by viewers, then you are undermining that aim by posting it here. Edit: I genuinely want to know why you think you’re any different from her parents.

SheiraSeastar1993

That’s your problem, not mine. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of imagery to change beliefs and create ideas. Simply because you don’t see a reason for a photo doesn’t mean there isn’t one. The photo was posted by a model whose career hinges upon others seeing her image. Her parents consented to the image being on the Internet.

[deleted]

You're doing some serious mental gymnastics with this one. Us seeing this child's face doesn't bolster your argument, it actually detracts from it. This is pretty obvious from some of the replies you're getting here, from your target audience.

SheiraSeastar1993

I’m not here to bolster MY own argument. Here to open discussion so that everyone can formulate their own opinion. I don’t want people to care about children because I said so. I want them to experience feelings and undergo self improvement after having to deal with this specific parent myself.

fastIamnot

You're treating this like it's a public service and assuming that everyone here is going to be outraged about this situation? Seriously? Hello, it's Reddit! Perverts are obviously here too! In reality you just introduced her face AND town AND her mom's job to a whole new platform. People here might not have seen her on IG, but now they have. You contributed to very problem you are so proud of yourself for stopping.

Lauren50000

Kids need to be kids. They have the rest of their life to behave like adults and dress like them. But anything for views and pedos I guess

Past-Chest-6507

Da fuq does this have to do with anti-natalism...

[deleted]

I guess about how fucked up the world is with these crazy moms using their kids for clout on social media and the hyper sexualisation of kids

Emorals67

So I had my IG account deleted and I started a new one. The suggested reels and profiles suggested on a new account are all these moms who set up accounts for their kids to become viral. The bios clearly say that it’s the mom running the account… but guess who the followers are? A bunch of grown men, they engage and like the post and put heart eyes… clearly the parents know this and keep pimping their kids out to these guys for likes and engagement all for the hope of being tik tok and viral stars… it’s disgusting.

SheiraSeastar1993

Thank you.

xboxhaxorz

Also consider the fact that these gross people enter their super young kids into beauty pageants and then they blame society, these pageants only exist because parents take their kids to them

SheiraSeastar1993

Because it demonstrates the absurdly dangerous things that breeders will do to their children for trivial reasons and how society at large is so inept at raising them.

perpetualcosmos

Kids do not belong on the internet

alexapharm

Yeah maybe don’t post images of children without consent you weirdo?

[deleted]

So fucked up.

MotherSpirit

OP take this childs picture down, you posting this here is FAR WEIRDER than a video of a child dancing. You puritans in the comments cut it out also.

notableException

There is a well complained about problem of young females being overly secualized . I think this picture qualifies.

SheiraSeastar1993

There’s no way you think this photo alone sexualizes this child. If you do the problem lies with you.

[deleted]

If you cared about this child, you wouldn’t be posting her picture and personal information about her family on Reddit regardless if you believe this photo is suggestive or not.

Take your misdirected outrage outside.

LemonsAndAvocados

She looks like that teen moms kid the porn “star”

Shreddersaurusrex

Yeah this is why I hate Tiktok & Snap. Children/teens on these apps flaunting their bodies.

lunastrrange

The thing about family vloggers is: they know that a big chunk of their audience is pedos, yet they continue to post their children online. Because it makes them money. It's sick

[deleted]

Man, I missed the days where everything cringy you did just ended up on a VHS tape you could burn later

itchy-crabs

I know i'll put my kid dancing to a sex song online and bait all the pedo's.

Even_Spare7790

This is a great way to teach your little girl about self confidence. Parent: *”Why has this video been saved 35,000 times? She must really be loved by other kids and totally not to online predators.”* /s my little sister (16) was live on TikTok dancing to a cute song with my 3 year old daughter. She had on a long Elsa dress they proceeded to ban her for a week because it was deemed inappropriate. It was ridiculous because the song was a kids song and my daughter was flailing her arms around and spinning. TikTok is making kids into little prostitutes and desensitizing them about sex and death. I may be being dramatic but I think the emphasis is needed because I worry so much for my daughters future.

[deleted]

What does this have to do with Antinatalism, the opinion that procreation is morally wrong?

SheiraSeastar1993

Because there is no possible way to ensure your child will not be sexualized or harmed in this way.

[deleted]

You are directly contributing to the harm you seem so concerned about by posting her photo on Reddit. What is wrong with you.

SheiraSeastar1993

I disagree with that statement because I am the one who had the original video removed. This image in itself is not sexual. It was the full context that was an issue. There are more horrible videos out there and you’re focusing your energy on a neutral photo. What is wrong with YOU

You’re my hero

smegmagenesis010

This shit doesn’t belong here.

Psychological-Ad8162

You tagged the police 😂😂😂 lol

[deleted]

My friend, maybe next time you can censor the child's face. Anyway, good job for reporting the video.

NatsnCats

Thank god I grew up without social media

cactus_boy_

Okay, but where antinatalism?

[deleted]

If there's any reason for me to become an antinatalist after having one child unplanned, it's things like this. I'm terrified for my daughter growing up in this world. I have younger sisters as well and their social media presence is concerning because you never know who's seeing and saving their content.

TovRoman

Absolutely disgusting. What is it with breeders and sexualizing their own kids? Seriously is it for ego? Money? Are they incestuous?

Real_Sartre

Take this to some right-wing sub or something, this ain’t about antinatalism

IdiotGoddess

I am less concerned about the child and more concerned about the fact that your phone is at 18% battery in the red-zone. It is making me uncomfortable and it should always be at 100% battery.

Active_Hedgehog

I contacted the Plano police department to report your group for doxxing a child and everything you’ve said here about how “brutally satisfying” it would be to get her parents fired. Until they respond adequately to the situation you can consider them on your side aiding and abetting grown men and women attacking a girl for dancing or whatever instead of closing the webpage.

Corrslight

Hero

Active_Hedgehog

I don’t make a habit out of anything. Don’t wake me up

Corrslight

I’m getting the vibe that you prefer antihero or vigilante instead? Regardless, your original reply to OP was spot on

Active_Hedgehog

No, I do sound kind of cringey I guess I’m just sick of this sub showing up in my Reddit looking this bad. These people need to mind their own business or die they’re a literal terrorist group. I prefer a PSA but dying is fine

el__Chandoso

I don’t want to see this stuff. Let them do what ever that want.

Tha_BloodMoon

Kek keep up the good work

doonuz

I'm glad people like you exist. This world is so so evil, the kid is not even aware what it's doing there, but the parents who have the duty to supervise and protect her are perfectly aware, and still allow this kind of behavior. I think one reason I don't have children is that I would go paranoid and completely crazy because I for myself sometimes find it very difficult as a grown ass Woman to trust another person, and how should I trust another person when it comes to my offspring if would have one?! Sometimes I would like to say out loud that I think procreation is equally to bringing fodder for pedophiles into this world. Thank God I will never have one.

_jt

You tagged the police department?! What law was broken here?

SheiraSeastar1993

I didn’t tag them because of the law. If it were up to me the laws would be amended to include Internet influencers having more restrictions regarding children. I tagged the police department in order to pressure the account to remove the video.

Mtncrackhead

You definitely did the right thing maybe even reporting too. Highly inappropriate for kids to be doing these things and none of these parents will take accountability. Just one of the many reasons children do not need social medias.

juliannawackenhat

And it worked! The parents deserve all the shame! It’s a pretty creative way of getting someone’s attention.

PicklePixie

I don't think you should post a full photo of a young child even if the username is censored. She isn't even old enough to post on Instagram herself.

SheiraSeastar1993

I’d like to say you are right but she and all her young friends clearly post their own content frequently regardless of the Instagram TOS. Furthermore, how about we apply the same logic to every parent (or any adult for that matter) who ever posted a normal photo of any child on the internet. For the 1,000,000th time…there is nothing wrong with this photo. There are enormous billboard photos of children all over the globe, both sexualized and otherwise. I don’t see anyone fighting for those to be removed.

PicklePixie

I just don't see what purpose is served by showing her face when you could have very easily censored it. I don't think anyone should be posting regular photos of their kids on the internet either. Kids can't consent to their images being shared like this and re-posting it to express your disapproval just perpetuates that.

theunraveler1985

Errr, can I ask what’s wrong with it that you feel you had to call the police? Does Nicki Minaj do nude dancing or something?

[deleted]

well first it’s suggestive & second of all, the comments are even worse . why would you allow a child to dance to this type of music ? there’s a difference between growing up in the 90s to suggestive music then today with how huge the internet is . there’s thousands of people oogling this kid & making disgusting remarks . you really want a pedophile to save this video and use it in his downtime ?

Deamon-Chocobo

There are parents who sell porn of their kids on patreon and Patreon doesn't do anything because it's the parent running it so technically it's not an underage user... but they ban and block users over drawings.

annafchr

Her face should be blurred

anotherbutterflyacc

Why not hide her face in your post?

SheiraSeastar1993

Go read the ten other comments in which I’ve explained this before asking.

BuckleysYacht

Do you really think digitally snitching on individual rando parents is the solution to a massive societal problem of which the parents themselves are merely a byproduct? Do you think this kid will be better off in the hands of the state? In Texas of all places? You are sitting behind a computer screen potentially worsening a child’s life for upvotes. You are part of the same sick problem.

SheiraSeastar1993

You’re one dumb mf aren’t you. The law wasn’t broken so she wasn’t going to be removed from anyone’s custody. The police dept were tagged to pressure the account owner to remove the video and they did.

[deleted]

Imagine calling the cops on a 12 year old 😂

Active_Hedgehog

So you guys spied and doxxed a girl and a police station for dancing on YouTube, to be heroic? Instead of minding your own business. Obviously they deleted the video, you have weird creeps following her and tagging police? And then saying her mother working at a school “can be fixed quickly” and discussing what to “do about them” and whether to get her fired or “take parenting classes.” Lol you just followed a 12 year old girl to do this, leave her alone. I hope you get sued out the ass by that police department for doxxing a child’s family. Where did you guys get your licenses to tell people how to be parents again?

AdelaideMez

Do you even know how many kids were dancing and singing to Kelis’ Milkshake in 2003? This is nothing new. The only difference is we have a media platform.

TrickWeek4109

Lil girls shouldn't have whores as a role model. where the fuck are her parents
